You can plug original Atari controllers into those Flashback systems Rick. Definitely recommend using original controllers instead of those awful IR ones.

They tried to pull that refurbish charge on me once before. I told them to just give it back to me and I took it to another GameStop store with my next batch and they gave me no issue. There was nothing wrong with it. I won't be nickel and dimed for phantom blemishes. Oh well...

Many years ago I brought in tons of psp games and psp I didn't want it anymore in to resell they asked how did you get so many games duh I bought them how dare they try assume things.

My brother found a wii with wii sports, a controller, cords, and a wii fit pad next to the dumpster. He gave it to me because he knew I like this kinda stuff and that I could sell it for money. I cleaned it up and everything but the controller worked!

on the Left 4 Dead 2 game, "coach" is coach Hester, as in my highschool football coach lol. They used our colors and logo. I'm pretty sure he sued them for using him without permission lol

I just rummaged through my storage and I recovered my childhood game consoles. Super Nintendo, Sega , GameCube, N64, virtual head set with Mario tennis from toys are us. And gameboys. Controls and games for all of them. The only one I was not going to lose was Joe and Mac And Ghouls and Ghost. The rest I gifted to my brother who doesn't even like me. Lol It's well . I think your my age so because you remember things from your child hood that I do. So I'm glad I found your channel. Great content. I'm 32

Yeah most of the the important data is stored on the center of the disc. Fun fact: crash bandicoot om the PS1 has all of it's data on the center of the disc and the rest of the disc is scrambled random data

That AT Games genesis clone thing is the only genesis I own (I also own the handheld one), and I think it's great! I'm mostly a Nintendo guy, never cared much about sega, so it's enough for me, and when I find a genesis game cart I wanna play I can just pop it in there too, most of em anyway, which is a huge plus!

I went to my game store today and there was a complete ps2 slim in a free bin. I asked and they said the reader was broken so I took it home and it worked fine. I'm so happy to add another ps2 to my collection.

That big hero 6 for 3ds at gamestop is a fun game....I know u mainly go for flipping stuff...but if u play a game or two, it's cheap, good and looks complete a rare thing from gamestop

You will get more if you upgrade the NES mini with extra games. You can fit the entire library on it. The AT Games Genesis are very cheap and don't sell well since the better official Genesis mini came out.

You should label videos like this "10 dollar game collection" or something to differentiate them from your regular thrift hunting videos. I'm always unsure which one was uploaded and I mainly watch the regular thrift hunting episodes.

the Genesis At Home is one of the first things I picked up in my video game game collection! The thing that bummed me out is that I got a game shark to use with it and it doesn’t work. but still very fun for finding out what games you want to collect in a physical format

I got my NES Classic back in 2018 for retail price $60, so they knocked off $10 which is a good deal actually. So many knock offs still sell for over $100.

Kinect Sports trades for $6.60 at Gamestop. And Call of Duty Infinite Warfare on Xbox one trades for $5.50 because, well we all know how that turned out!

Pretty awesome pickups! You could sell the Flashback with a wired 2600 controller. Might be worth seeing if connecting a physical controller would allow the wireless one to connect.

The Atari Flashback 2 you could order a kit that allowed you to solder in a Cartridge slot and use 2600 games

You should be able to plug controllers into it too. If you dont have atari joysticks you might be able to use genesis controllers. Not sure but the ir genesis might link too.

Build a relationship with Goodwill employees....yeah that would never happen at the local GW! They're all about sending all the media to a warehouse now! I'm in at a local small thrift though, the gave me a PS3 super slim and 2 Genesis games on Saturday!

The refurb fee can sometimes be a good thing. I've taken in some games that weren't working, and they still took them after I told them. Just charged me the refurb fee on that particular game.

I’m glad you ask EvenTrade is coming, imagine a place where you can take your Xbox and get a PlayStation and not have to worry about trading your Xbox into GameStop just to get f’d in the A. For the Atari Flashback, just pick up an original plug in controller. They are dirt cheap and better than the crappy wireless controller.
