Chunky is so insane with his MU knowledge, the things he pulled of with grenade play, spacing and punishes is just next level. But sadly you can be the fucking best at this game but if your character limits you, you'll always struggle. It's a shame seeing DK have a solid lead and always think "naaah it's still even for snake"

It's an unpopular opinion but I generally agree with you about Snake. I would say sometimes though, I see people playing agressively even with camping characters. Like Sonix, yes people hate Sonic, and I hate Sonic too due to its playstyle, but frankly, I've seen Sonix quite often recently playing agressively and it's a treat to watch honestly. When he camps though, that's boring for sure. The only character that's an exception is Steve. I've never seen Steve players not camping. There is a degree of camping that varies among characters. Some are more camping than others.

@@MyRegularNameWasTaken The few times I've seen Hurt playing Acola, I always thought Hurt was so cool playing Snake. But yes, otherwise, it's typically what you expect from Snake. Not very exciting gameplay. There are few characters that seem to play a game on their own, eg, Steve, Sonic, Snake. Sure, people complain that some characters were made too good, such as Rob or GnW, but I don't see them boring to watch, unlike Snake or Steve. The best example of this illustration is when I saw a Fox player (I think it was Light) playing Snake (ApolloKage, I think), and I remember everytime Light attempts to combo, he gets immediately interrupted in the air because AK keeps mashing B, so Fox explodes often whenever he Snake. That reminds me of when I play Bayonetta 2 against some bosses, especially, Lumen Sage. He counters me each time I start a combo, and it's exceedingly difficult to even finish a combo, even a short combo such as PKP or PPKP. So playing Snake is just like playing "bullet hell" shoot 'em up, with the added difficulty that it can be tough to combo him if he spams B when being combo'd. I understand that people are fan of some characters, but unfortunately, the idea that all characters were created equal is a zombie idea that keeps coming and unfortunately never dies.

Zoners, especially ones that powerful, shouldn't have the insane frame data and easy kill power he does. It's just bad game design. As much as people dislike Mii Gunner, I think he's the best designed (zoner) character in the game. He's powerful at a distance, but has very bad frame data and a horrendous disadvantage state up close. That's called a balanced character. Snake is a textbook zoner without any of the weaknesses that usually comes with a zoner.
