KPOP is a VERY harsh industry to the part where they can't even have boyfriends (or any non-scripted personal lives). Actually that's not totally true, although I'm sure there are some terrible companies that would do that. Idols are allowed boyfriends/girlfriends but usually after a 3ish year period, so pretty much once they're not considered rookies. You are also allowed personal lives away from spotlight but doing things such as making hurtful comments, like racism or whatnot, or anything that puts you in a bad light will probably be exposed and it won't be good for you or your group. Groups that make it big get a lot of money also, such as bigbang was the highest grossing male group in the entire world last year beating out maroon 5. GD-- their leader-- has like 3 mansions and a resort. Anyway I have no idea about this group shown or what they're like, probably because they sound like shit, but they should have definitely helped her.

About the Seeya seizure incident, i read on a couple of forums that they found nothing wrong with what Seeya did because they had to perform. It was a live show, so they couldn't just stop shooting and retake. Having said that, i'm pretty sure any normal and caring person would try to help a person who was having a seizure. I'm sure the audience who was watching would be fine with their idols stopping their song to help a backup dancer. Plus, why the hell would you drag a person who was having a seizure off stage like that?! You should let them be until they stop their seizure and are stable, but they couldn't do that. Instead of grabbing her arms and legs and restraining her, they should have picked her up and held onto her torso and support her head. That way, her arms and legs aren't being restricted. Them doing that probably hurt her more.

In those girls defended kpop is an incredibly strict industry. It's gotten more relaxed lately but that video was clearly old so they are probably told to not stop performing no matter what. I friggin' agree. I've wondered if she was unaware she was epileptic or assumed her medication would prevent seizures in any environment, but even on my meds I still get a dizzying electricity if I see footage of a rave or even if I'm a vehicle passenger and the sunlight is flashing between a line of trees. Doubtful anything would happen but it's a bit painful and annoying as hell, also can't chance losing my memory again you know. I've looked away/squinted once or twice to listen to Hila and Ethan and kind of see what happened but now I just exit the video halfway when I see the seizure warning and remember what's next.
