I love my 8 wheeler bc it moves quick compared to the track machine but nothing can beat how compact a track machine is

That ground doesn't look too steep for logger Wade! Lol. Thanks for the video Mr John.

That sure beats a Huscvarnga 288 like I carried in the logging woods several years. I cut some big trees with that old saw.

Those old jewels are like boat anchors compared to modern saws. I like em though

Feller buncher-used mostly for pulpwood harvest right? Or, trees leas than a certain DBH? Just trying to learn. I do know we need to harvest this renewable resource in far more places than we do know. Not enough young forests!

Good job operating machine alls i gotta say is going to be a pain to clean out tracks snow and dirt nothing worse good luck
@josephmccarry67005 жыл бұрын
I think logger Wade needs a machine like that. That buncher lays them down were u want them or maybe it's the operator.
@elithelogger58905 жыл бұрын
Joseph McCarry logger Wade is also cutting much bigger timber that is probably harder to manoeuvre around. Btw he’s got a John Deere track buncher 👍🏻
@josephmccarry67005 жыл бұрын
@@elithelogger5890 so your saying tigercat is much better of a machine?
@elithelogger58905 жыл бұрын
Joseph McCarry no sir just saying there two different style loggers. Both are mechanical outfits but Wade cuts larger sized hardwood timber that is sawed for grade lumber on much steeper terrain than this. It’s much different timber than pulp/chipping timber.

But I have seen tigercat cut big timber and maneuver the same size tree's that Mr. Wade's machine does and tigercat don't seem to have a problem with that

Sounds like he needs to turn on the anti stall switch or it’s not working right. The machine bogging to much. I’m not going fuss about his cutting every job and ground different. I would check the anti stall run it with switch on all time. I never turn it off.

He’s gettin r done now it’s snowing hard there maybe we’ll get some here soon I’m hoping anyways. I’ve got a 4 wheel drive Arctic Cat now and my huntin lease ain’t over a mile and a 1/4 from my house let’er snow ❄️

If that guy was on my crew he would be fired. He is costing so much money and wasting so much time
@tylerroy77665 жыл бұрын
Buddy costing a lot in fuel. If it’s a select cut, he doesn’t know the job A variable retention , he doesn’t know the job A shelter wood , he doesn’t know the job Sorry , WAY too long in the decision making. For that machine to be profitable, if that is how it is run on a daily
@Mikes_Repair5 жыл бұрын
Agreed, production is minimal if that's how slow the tiger cat is moving.

Wow this is hands down the worst buncher operator I have ever seen... hes costing you more in fuel then what your making guaranteed.. hand fallers could cut more with a chain saw..
