Very cool, from the Fiji Islands, a third world country and this kind of knowledge is just right for us. Thank you very much.

My wife found one of those plows in the back when she was prepping to plant some flowers and said, "Look at this piece of junk I found", holding that up for me to see. I told her, Honey, that is sure not junk! It was part of an old handled tool clearly from "WAY" back. It was even cast metal. I went looking in search of how old it might be (our house was built by a Civil War Soldier in the mid-late 1800's) because this place had been a farm up until around 1965 and it is likely an old part of a hand implement from long ago. Anyway, while hopping around the internet I came across your video and it is tickling us both to see the creative use you all schemed up which we are going to do. Greetings and thank you guys from Michigan!

Awesome ideal, I finally built one, question is, how does the rain affect yours, meaning mine don't really drain, just sets on between the rows due to plow is deeper than actual ground
@VWFamilyFarm Жыл бұрын
It helps us keep the plants from drowning in the Spring since they are higher. We get a lot of rain in the Spring .

Last year was a bad year for beans! My dad's didn't germinate the first time. And he replanted and had less than 10% germination. My beans didn't do great either. Hopefully this year will be better.

Is it works for wet and heavy soil?
@VWFamilyFarm4 жыл бұрын
Muddy soil probably would not work so great, but thickness of the soil would probably depend on the tiller.

Yes but not for all of the garden since we are using weed fabric this year. It works really well for planting season so your seeds and plants don’t drown with heavy spring rains.
