It was June 2019. I had been on my East London Café job for 2 years. Well not the full two years, because I fucked off to
Stockholm in June 2018 as the company kept hiring dumbshits.
This one day at work, the dishwashing machine shat itself. It had been leaking water for sometime that management thought about installing a drain where the machine leaked.
Angry with the thought of having to maintain a supply of plates that had to be handwashed. I stepped into the storage room and started jumping on my bowlers hat.
I was wanting to leave this job soon. On a rest break, I noticed flight to Caracas were £450. Venezuela was under turmoil over Maduro clinging power with support from the Far left world. The west I live in was recognising a nobody as a legitimatea president of a country he didn't rule.
I was willing to sod off to Caracas so my money could help local business.
Later on that day, I met up with my Gay co-worker Stuart. If I hadn't spoke to Stuart that day, I probably would have never came back to the business. We talked about the times I met Joan Collins and Stockard Channing. Its not everyday a gay man helps a straight man out by encouraging him to stay on the job.
I had already planned to see Dream Theater in Slovakia and go onto Lebanon in a few weeks time. That I did.
