It is so strange to say that time "is an illusion", that our consciousness "creates", because, well, all verbs of natural language are time-based, so when we say that conscioussness "creates" it, we mean that it did not "already create" it, nor that it "will some day create it", no, we mean it "creates it", as in "right now", but for "right now" to be different from past and future, time ALREADY has to be something quite real! It's akin to Descartes' idea - "even if I am mistaken about everything, I must at least exist for there to be SOMEONE who is mistaken!". This is an out of the box idea I had but this is just my own thoughts & ideas about something that may have been overlooked. So as I was looking across my room at a pizza box I had used to write & scribble down a bunch of stuff several months ago That I didn't want to forget it was about the physics of magnetic monopoles & some ideas I had gotten from that & the pictures on the pizza box in combination with that made me think of time & living in a 3D world but in a 2D universe & how time may flow differently in 2 dimensions than it does in 3 dimensions. I started using the picture on the box to explain how something 3D can exist in something 2D as I think we do we do. All the planets & stars & bodies in space are 3D & that’s what gives our 2D universe depth. I think We are like the 3D picture image on the top of a 2D surface. We have the perception of how a 2D man sees a 3D image as a straight line as how we see and experience time, from A ----to---- B. Which is why We're not actually able to see the whole thing as it really is. The past is pushing us forwards through time, but not into the future as we think because the future is actually an opposite apposing force that is also pushing forwards but from the other side & we exist somewhere where time collides with itself, as it moves in both directions, where every moment is always the recent past or the near future.. & it’s neither one at the same time & it’s never “now”. where time doesn't really exist. There's no such thing as 2D because no matter how flat you go there will always be a measurement in the Z axis . There is only three dimensional space that has the X axis the Y axis and the Z axis . Space time shows us that time absolutely does exist outside of our mental construct which we use to track our moments. That's why traveling at high speed makes us age different than those we leave behind. If time was only a man made idea that doesn't actually exist, this could not happen. If time was not a real thing outside of our minds, this could not happen. No matter h8w fast one moved, we would all age the same at a constant rate. But distance through space and time are one in the same.

The foundation of Time is what we perceive by our rotation around a sun, a fixed point in space. Remove yourself from this system, to a place in space. Now consider how would you determine time without a clock given to you prior to leaving the place where you understand time, based on your rotational environment. Therefore while at this point in space, does time, as you know it, Exist? What is the Answer? NO. Because at this point you are at Eternity! A place where you have no reference of time. When you theorize Time, it is only based on Earthly datum the Original point of origin. I live in Canada if I fly to Hong Kong China it's 743 PM in Toronto it's 744 am if I go to China I will have traveled backwards in time this is the best we can do

Time could be based on the number of oscillations of a particular cesium isotope. This is how atomic clocks work. There are also distant pulsars that are even more accurate. You might experience a very long week because you're doing all sorts of new exciting things, or a boring week of the same grind. Who cares how long it seems, it's the same length.

Time travel back in the past is an exciting idea that will never happen. It's a good plot for any movies tho.✌️ Edit: Time travel to the future is feasible tho.

Time is definitely more than a measurement of start to end. Simply put, how else could light particles live to travel billions of years if it weren't outrunning time itself?

Time like the number zero doesn't really exist, it's simply a mental construct we use in our day-to-day lives, but it has no true physical properties, it's completely abstract. As an example you could visit a house, you can visit a place, like a forest, but you can't go back in time, because there's nothing to go back to, it's just a memory.

Ask somebody what is time and they will tell you things that were made up by humans. Time isn't real.
