@ronsen7119
@ronsen7119 Жыл бұрын
@@statendrei5 yeah dreams help us prepare for future but its isnt an actual voyage to future point....its crucial to understand the difference! The actual time machines purpose is to travel to a "exact,real" future point and not a "simulation/mental construct" of future . thats why its absolutely irrational to compare (even philosophically) us to a time machine! also, it is totally possible to have a future without dreaming! So when in context of science , every term should be precisely understood and the subtle distinction between them should be realized.

This is an out of the box idea I had but this is just my own thoughts & ideas about something that may have been overlooked. So as I was looking across my room at a pizza box I had used to write & scribble down a bunch of stuff several months ago That I didn't want to forget it was about the physics of magnetic monopoles & some ideas I had gotten from that & the pictures on the pizza box in combination with that made me think of time & living in a 3D world but in a 2D universe & how time may flow differently in 2 dimensions than it does in 3 dimensions. I started using the picture on the box to explain how something 3D can exist in something 2D as I think we do we do. All the planets & stars & bodies in space are 3D & that’s what gives our 2D universe depth. I think We are like the 3D picture image on the top of a 2D surface. We have the perception of how a 2D man sees a 3D image as a straight line as how we see and experience time, from A ----to---- B. Which is why We're not actually able to see the whole thing as it really is. The past is pushing us forwards through time, but not into the future as we think because the future is actually an opposite apposing force that is also pushing forwards but from the other side & we exist somewhere where time collides with itself, as it moves in both directions, where every moment is always the recent past or the near future.. & it’s neither one at the same time & it’s never “now”. where time doesn't really exist. So WHAT WOULD "NOW" LOOK LIKE IN 2 DIMENSIONS? IT WOULD PROBABLY APPEAR THAT "NOW" IS MOVING ALONG IN A STRAIGHT LINE WITH TIME carrying us forwards. Which is what we think but I DON'T THINK IT IS. Past >>>>>>>>>> to >>>>>>>>>Future I DON'T THINK THIS ONE IS RIGHT I THINK IT'S MORE LIKE THIS "Now" Past >>>>>>>> (???)

There's no such thing as 2D because no matter how flat you go there will always be a measurement in the Z axis . There is only three dimensional space that has the X axis the Y axis and the Z axis . Seeing that everything is made out of atoms then you will always have a measurement in three dimensions . Two dimensions is clearly impossible . Have a nice day and enjoy all of your future pizzas in three dimensional space .

3D Cartesian Coordinates xy+z has a physical quality/quantity forth dimensional location variable called time expressed as xyz+t in this 3D realm where length, width, and height are required variables for an object; not to be confused with conceptual geometrical fourth dimension. Existence as applied to physical objects requires measurements of length, width, and height having position/location in 3D Cartesian Coordinates xy+z of space. Absolute zero being unachievable objects are always in vibration even at the lowest energy level, time is always involved as motion, xyz+t. Fundamentally time is a measure of change or the interval over which change occurs, constant changing locations. In physics, there are seven fundamental physical qualities/quantities that are measured in base or physical fundamental units: length, mass, time, electric current, temperature, amount of substance, and luminous intensity. Time is one of the seven fundamental physical qualities/quantities in both the International System of Units (SI) and International System of Quantities. Time is a physical quality/quantity requirement for our 3D spatial environment to function by changing locations, a scalar quality/quantity which can be considered to be the fourth dimension used to describe events in three-dimensional space; mass, time, and length cannot be derived from other qualities/quantities. Everything in the universe happens at exactly the same spacial now time; the only difference is, you are in a different position in space to the other object. Time is malleable known as gravitational red shift or dilation; just as matter is malleable in different states of matter. Time is illusional, our naive perception of its flow doesn't correspond to physical reality; the most accurate clock that could be made would just say now. We are already fourth dimensional beings, our perception is what needs to change.

@user-ky5dy5hl4d Right. In engineering/physics we use conceptual geometrical/mathematical representation to help describe and explain physical presences for use in prediction and control (science). If we want to meet each other somewhere we must give coordinates in a 3D environment and a forth locational dimension variable called time for our meet to be successful. A quality/quantity.

The foundation of Time is what we perceive by our rotation around a sun, a fixed point in space. Remove yourself from this system, to a place in space. Now consider how would you determine time without a clock given to you prior to leaving the place where you understand time, based on your rotational environment. Therefore while at this point in space, does time, as you know it, Exist? What is the Answer? NO. Because at this point you are at Eternity! A place where you have no reference of time. When you theorize Time, it is only based on Earthly datum the Original point of origin. If you Originated in Space with no refence to a solar system, how would you even determine what a day is? what is an hour a minute a second is? Your concept of time then cannot even be established. So consider, That time only exists in your mind. As time at Eternity does not exist as we understand it. Without time does light have speed? Or is it ever present? without our conception of time what is it? A construct of the mind

Time travel, a captivating concept rooted in both scientific and philosophical realms, has intrigued minds for centuries. In the nexus of quantum mechanics and cosmic consciousness, the potential for temporal manipulation takes a speculative yet intriguing turn. Quantum mechanics, at its core, challenges our classical understanding of time and reality. The principles of superposition and entanglement suggest a reality where particles exist in multiple states simultaneously, transcending the linear progression of time. Wormholes, hypothetical tunnels through spacetime, emerge as a plausible avenue for time travel within the framework of general relativity and quantum mechanics. The entanglement of particles across vast distances implies an interconnectedness that transcends the conventional boundaries of space and time. This interconnectedness, when coupled with cosmic consciousness-a theoretical concept positing a universal awareness or consciousness-offers a lens through which time travel might be influenced or navigated. The cosmic consciousness hypothesis proposes that the universe possesses a unified field of awareness, linking all entities within it. If this consciousness is malleable, influenced by thought or intention, it opens a gateway for temporal manipulation. Could focused collective human consciousness, akin to a quantum observer effect, collapse probabilities in favor of time travel? However, challenges abound. The paradoxes inherent in time travel, such as the famous grandfather paradox, wherein a time traveler could prevent their own existence, raise questions about the feasibility of altering the past. Quantum decoherence, the process by which quantum systems lose coherence, introduces uncertainties and limits the potential for stable time travel. The intersection of quantum mechanics and cosmic consciousness presents a tantalizing landscape for the exploration of time travel. The theoretical underpinnings exist, yet the practical realization remains enigmatic. As our understanding of quantum phenomena and the nature of consciousness advances, so too may our grasp on the mysterious fabric of time itself

10:35 The gravitational field of a planet is NOT greatest at its core but at the surface. At the core you have the entire mass of the planet essentially pulling at you from all directions outward cancelling each other. You would have zero (0) gravity at the core of any planet that has essentially uniform mass distribution at any given layer. Clocks run slowest at the Earth's surface.

It is so strange to say that time "is an illusion", that our consciousness "creates", because, well, all verbs of natural language are time-based, so when we say that conscioussness "creates" it, we mean that it did not "already create" it, nor that it "will some day create it", no, we mean it "creates it", as in "right now", but for "right now" to be different from past and future, time ALREADY has to be something quite real! It's akin to Descartes' idea - "even if I am mistaken about everything, I must at least exist for there to be SOMEONE who is mistaken!". So also must time exist, because if you're mistaken now, it's different from if you will be mistaken tomorrow or in 1000 years from now!

09:57 Actually it can. The young girl gets the information on how to build the time machine from her older self from a different timeline. In THAT universe she spent her entire adult and elder life developing the time machine. Her idea was to travel back in time to show her younger self the information to somehow change her own past, but instead she creates a new timeline. This would not create a bootstrap paradox as the young girl in the new timeline would not need to travel back to herself to show the plans, since she already got them from her older self from a different timeline branch. The plans and information would have a definitive original point, just not in her own timeline.
@nightowl5475

But the older woman went back in time to give her younger version the time machine, thus creating a different timeline. Now she gives the younger version of herself the blue prints to make a time machine, so now there are 2 time machines. The older woman decides to return back to her time only arriving a day before she originally left. Now she meets a double of herself and there are 3 time machines. One in the past and two in the future. If the 2 exact older versions of herself decide to visit her younger version of herself again. When the 2 twin older ladies arrive in the past, they find the younger version of herself along with a child of herself. The younger version decided to go back in time15 years and kidnap herself at 5 years old. Now you have 4 versions of the same person, a five year old kid, a twenty year old kid and two 65 year old women. They keep changing the time lines. If the 5 year old version has an accident in the future and dies, her other versions disappear along with the 2 time machines. But in the past timeframe her 4 year old self is still alive and able to grow up to create another version of the time machine. So theoretically, the time machine can keep changing time frames. It only ends if the woman goes back in time and kills her mother before giving birth to herself and she and the time machine disappear forever!

@@nightowl5475 Wow, you're really overthinking this :P Here's how I see it. When the woman travels back in time to give her younger self the blueprints she, as I mentioned, creates a new timeline. BUT.. I don't think she is able to travel back to HER own future again. I think she is locked in that new timeline and if she travels forward in time she will simply travel into the new timeline, meeting up with the older version of her younger self from this new timeline. THey could, of course, co-exist since they are not the "same person" so to speak... at least. If any of the two traveled back in time AGAIN... then that would create yet another new timeline, which they would be forced to stay on going forward in time. That's my take on it anyway. :)

If time is already all laid out. We just play are part. If this is the case then there is no free will but a deterministic reality. So even if u go back into time or forward no matter what u do events will still play them selves out. Regardless if u try to change something. Like if we go back into time and warn the Chinese that ur gonna release a pandemic. Or stop the patient 0 then ultimately someone else will become patient 0.

I don't think time travel works like that. I think if you were to travel back in time, youd find yourself with the same exact thoughts, emotions, memories you had at the moment in time you traveled to and the memory of traveling back in time would be wiped because it happened in the future.

@@8xnnr if ur referring to what I said then thats exactly what I mean. Everything is all ready set in place we play it out. I don't think its possible to go back into time. The past if were able to see into it is just that peering into it. The past is forever there. Its information. We wouldn't be able to interact with it.
