Namco was the leading japanese game developer until the rise the of Nintendo who superseded it. It remained the king of the arcades afterward, with the throne shared with others like Sega and Taito, but was forever bound into a submissive role in console space, consoles that would eventually become much more important than arcades hence diminishing Namco's influence. Namco lack of courage to bring to the consumer market their own console (NC-1) sealed their destiny in the long run (now merged with Bandai to keep their relevance).

I love the use of various function generators in early Namco games to create atmosphere in the sound effects and music. The sound is very distinctive and everyone today can identify the opening music of Pac-Man, the "wa-ka" sound when he eats, etc. "Pac-Man Fever" was a global phenomenon, the gift of hard-working Japanese developers to an eager world. Baraduke was an important game. It predates the release of Metroid a little bit, making it the first game where you play a powerful female character in a science fiction setting. The USA also has a "Namco"! They sell swimming pools. Under US trademark law two different companies may own the same name if they are in different markets, so Namco the video game company and Namco the swimming pool company may coexist. It's like how Apple the computer company was in a tense stalemate with Apple Records, the music publisher formed by the Beatles. I wish we could have seen more of Thunderceptor! That looks like a cool game, a bit like Space Harrier.
The game that i really remembered until now is Dig-Dug, so fun! Wish to play it again, somewhere, if it still exist....

awww, I remember everyone play the heck outta Battle City, it's also my father's favorite game. I had no idea it was a remade of Tank Battalion until last year. Now my father and I can just play Tank Force all night on Switch.

Did you make this "poster" of Yakuza-Namco or did you find it somewhere on the Internet. If you found it, can you tell me where?
