As weird as it is to admit, I've never heard of this goddess before despite my love of religious pantheons. I think it's pretty cool that the goddess of victory was depicted as a woman, it just feels like physical representation of concepts like that from the past would be depicted as males. I also like how the statue itself, despite missing some pieces, gives off that feeling of triumph.

You’ve added important statements i should have included in my video… You’re completely right, that’s so progressive of the time to have given to a female figure such powerful attributes. Greek mythology has its flaws but when it comes to women representation and empowerement, it’s in there for sure. I love that both gods and goddesses or other male/female mythological have qualities and flaws, that it’s not one-sided it that makes sense. With a head, the statue would not be as powerful as it is today (in my humblest opinion at least! 🫢) I feel personally more attracted by that sculpture than the Venus of Milo that is in the Louvre as well.
