I had to watch it a second time. There is so much cool information. It is all mind boggling to think that this has been replaced by something more advanced. Well done.

A nicely done video! I would like to point out two errors, just for education. The policy you referred to is actually known as MAD, for Mutually Assured Destruction. Also, the diagram of the missile propellant is for the Titan I, which ran on RP-1 and Liquid Oxygen or LOX. Titan II was propelled by Nitrogen Tetroxide or N2O4, and Unsymmetrical Dimethyl Hydrazine or UDMH. Thanks for showcasing the mighty Titan II. Why the silo door cant be opened more then halfway?

The preference would be to have it completely closed, but due to disarmament agreements with Russia, in order to keep the missile in it's current location, they need to have the door opened at least half way so that Russian satellites can confirm it is still there. If the museum were to ever remove the missile, they would open the doors the rest of the way as needed.
