Great comparison. I just go the 2021 Herman Miller Embody after considering these gaming chairs for years. I saved 40% off it by buying through one of HM's authorized dealers. The 2021 version features extended foam to the part of the seat that expands. At the end of the day, I decided to go with something that should last for years and that 12-year warranty. The company that makes the headrest for the Aeron is working on one for the Embody that could be out as early as the end of the year.

I previously owned a Secret Lab Gaming chair for about 2 years and I would use it quite often. At first I noticed it was extremely firm which I wasn't a fan of. I later found out that from the company that the chair would have a break in period and that it would take some time to get the chair adjusted to my body. It never did in my opinion because even after two years of use, I could only sit in the chair for maybe two hours. After that I would start to have severe back pain. I do have a bad back but that Secret Lab chair would always cause me discomfort after use. I recently sold my chair and I am in the market for a Steelcase Leap V2. I hope that it will reduce the back pain that I experienced in the Secret Lab.

@@Myxo14 thanks, just worried about support lumbar especially. The Embody is dumb expensive just trying to figure out if it's worth the sacrifice or if the titan would get the job done well enough
@Myxo142 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind there is no lumbar adjustment on the Embody. The back adjustment on the Embody forces you to sit up straight, but doesn't focus on lumbar. The Titan does have a lumbar adjustment...it's fairly average. If you have the opportunity, tryout a Aeron and an Embody before you buy anything. You may prefer the lumbar of the Aeron. I think the Titan is a great choice for the money, but I need to stress, it's not in the same league as the Embody. They are very different chairs. That said, some people hate the Embody. The company I work for is moving offices soon, and they brought in 12 chairs for us to test and rank. The winner was the Steelcase Gusture. The Embody came in 3rd. Second was the Haworth Fern. I will sadly miss my Aeron.

If you're using the chair for 10+ hours per day, I'd choose the Leap. The Leap (and Embody) are easier to sit in for extended periods of time. If a headrest is important for you, then you'll have to go with the Titan. I've been using my Titan for the past couple weeks as my main chair and put a heating pad on the back and seat (I'm dealing with piriformis issues). It's amazing with the heating pad! I have the Titan from 2018 and if the armrests haven't changed, I personally feel like it's a pretty big armchair width, almost too large even when you use the button to adjust them inwards.
