They tried to bleep the name of the snobs that refused to participate in the podcast, but after the final syllable and some lip reading I’m fairly confident it was the “titanic historical society.” If someone that attended the show that reads this could confirm or correct this it would be awesome. Regardless if it was them or not (Im like 90% sure it was), whoever replied like that to the request doesn’t care about the history of the titanic, or else they’d be jumping at the chance to spread the knowledge of the history at any chance, even if it is a humor podcast. Yeah I know what you mean, but it's still a semi-low budget podcast. Having even two or three mics is hard to keep in sync (and it loses sound quality). I've given about 5 televised live performances and only one or two sounded decent. I doubt that the IDKAT crew wanted to spend a minimum of $2k or $2.5k on sound for this live show. Yes, I know that (as Jim said) - each of them could've all just spoken into iPhones ad put it all together later - bet eve then you'd be paying an audio tech guy about $90 per hour of work and even then....that's more than 10 hours to put it all together just right.Anyway, I'm banging on *just a bit* !

They do actually have someone who does their technical stuff. And this sounds like the static you'd get from a cable not plugged in properly. Which, if the audio is monitored live should not happen at all. Possibly they had phones too close to their mic's but that too should have been picked up. Alternatively this happened in editing which means they do zero quality control before uploading. In any case it's not a good look.
