Angelina only had to meet one more goal, to be a world champion and she did so a few months later. I feel happy for her, she never lowered her arms and it was for more. Great gymnast, beautiful and strong.

Thank you so much for making this documentary/series on Melnikova, Chen, and Hurd. Thanks so much for having the time to interview them during the journey and letting people watch the journey in a special way. I loved this series so much. I learned a lot from all of the gymnasts and loved every one of them. I’m just so happy there were subtitles for English too where I can read and fully understand them talking in their different languages. Here in Dec 2021, Angelina is now the 2021 World AA Champion and Floor Silver Medalist! For Melnikova she has proved so much to all the doubters back in 2016-17 era when she fell inconsistently in Olympics and Worlds and has matured and grown up since then I’m just here crying tears of emotional joy for her as an athlete. For Chen Yile I’m so sad injuries had to occur during the Olympic season. Team China would have loved to have her on the team when they sent their B-squad team to Tokyo. For Morgan Hurd she has been such a fighter and a true champion in my book! Yes she hasn’t made the 2019 World team however I’m still proud of all her accomplishments and victories she has won. Hope all three can make it to Paris 2024 and more major competitions such as Liverpool 2022 and Antwerp 2023 for Worlds! And who knows, maybe Los Angeles 2028?🤔🏅 One last time, thanks Olympic Channel for everything you put into making this series. I loved it 10+/10

She is a great athlete, of course. But I really liked her personality and attitude. Also so beautiful. I was very happy to see her during the Olympics. I am sure she will continue to pursue an interesting life and suspect she will have other accomplishments. But I wish her health and happiness above all.

lots of footage of angelina and her teammates in the team finals but little to none for viktoria listunova who literally carried the whole team. She posted the highest score on beam and floor, she also posted the third highest uneven bars score and the overall total of her three-apparatus performance was WAY bigger than any performance from the all around finals. she only needs a 14.6 on vault to break the 58's which is very doable for her, ironic that the best gymnasts (and the most realistic ones to medal) didn't get the opportunity to shine in the aa finals. still amazing that roc went 3-4 in placement, and vlada was less than half a point away in becoming the all around olympic champion despite growth spurt, injuries, being a first year senior, and competing with seasoned veterans. gelya's redemption arc, miss three acl surgeries in this quad and suni hitting 4 on 4 despite the pressure, this olympics is surely one of the most dramatic ones and i love it✨
