Hilarious! Johnny does a good Ed Wynn voice here. He thought it bombed, but it was very funny. And it reminded me of Kay Kyser's Kollege of Musical Knowledge, sans the music.

David, I've looked for 2 particular skits Johnny did which were GOLD also, like this: Johnny as "Dr. Dilly" and as "Mr. Science." HILARIOUS in the non-laughter, and Ed and Johnny's reaction. You wouldn't by chance be able to post these, would you?

You get the feeling the writers knew the material was crap, but they knew once Johnny got at it, and it bombed in the studio, it would turn into a masterpiece of comedy.

I think his performance made this bomb. The first time they did this bit, he used his normal voice. This time, he used a goofy voice, and it does take away from the performance.
