The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza - Corssfire/Hold the Line Drum Cover by David Diepold

Hello everyone!
This is a cover version of 'Crossfire' and ‘Hold the Line’ by The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza.
Very special thanks to my buddies Bartol and Reinsn from bazn sounds & records, Sebastian from DreamCatch Audio and the “bluegarage”, where everything was recorded.

Except for the bass drum all the drum sounds are natural and as pure as possible. We spent a lot of time to set everything up, tried different microphones, positions, etc.
For the bass I used a standard sample from the Steven Slate foundry.
Furthermore I used
Fame maple shells (22", 12", 14", 16")
Gretsch Cast Aluminum Snare (14"x7")
Pearl Demon Drives
Roland SPD-S for triggering (bass drums)
And Murat Diril Cymbals:

David, I don't know if you'll read this, but I needed to post a message for you. Keep playing, no matter what. If there's a God outside (and I believe there is), He gave you a gift, so please, continue using it! You redefined all drumming concepts I had and watching you playing is really inspiring, even knowing that I'm light-years distant from your skills and not being a fan of this metal type of music. I'm from Brazil and your art is reaching drummers worldwide! Keep this incredible work! Congrats!

Jonas Wellingham I think doing exercises focused on control and playing to songs outside your comfort zone make a big difference, but only once you have your technique nailed down

It's not pro army lol it's namely stating the fact that they support the troops and which the audio clip is of Obama lying about ending the world but then again sent troops to fight again going back on his word. I don't care for wars either and I think they are making a point to show that.
