little late to the party, but my root canal had absolutely zero pain. Slight pinch from the shots but nothing else.

Yep, root canals don’t hurt, that rep comes from before they developed anesthesia that works for this procedure, which is NOT novocaine. I have no idea what happened to Dan if it did hurt, something was wrong.
