Congrats on 50K! I love your content and your takes on sets like these. A point of contention: Downtown Diner is the latest modular to feature a brick build lettered sign, coming out after the Palace Cinema. It was also the first to introduce turquoise as a dominant colour, before the Book Shop.

I agree with what you say about the town hall. It’s a set that I always have mixed feelings about. While I like the height, overall idea and the pillars, it just feels so flat and boring quite frankly. I have modified mine quite a bit to bring the pillars forward more and I have made changes to the balcony and the plants on the windows, but a revamp with the same overall idea would be amazing.

A pretty conceptual gimmick for the Market Street is the fact that the floors are 16x16, which allows them to be rotated about with respect to lower floors. To accomodate this idea the stairs even come to the centre, leaving a gap in the middle of each floor instead of the typical stairs against a wall.

Detective's Office is my #1. Got me into collecting the modulars and building a city. What the city needs most (in my opinion) is a modular Post Office and I hope we got one for 2026.

I think this was a good list. I wish I had more of the modular sets, but I'm glad that I have Assembly Square. I agree that it deserves the top space. There are just so many interesting details and spaces in this build. I absolutely can't wait to get Tudor Corner. The 2 sets that I would most like to own are the Detectives Office and the Brick Bank.
Thank You Heaps For The Year, Price, & Brick Count‼️❤️‼️ I Greatly Appreciate Your Effort Friend🤓😊🥰

I have only recently been getting into the Modulars, but I would say my fav looks wise is definitely Tudor Corner, but in terms of storytelling I would say my fav is defo the Brick Bank. I just love the whole money laundering thing I think it’s completely genius!

Congrats on the 50K! I was lucky to rediscover Lego via the modular sets as a young adult when they started coming out in the mid 00's, so have every one of them except for the museum and yet to be released suspiciously ranked No. 2... I love every one of them in their own way- but your very lowly ranked Cafe Corner is still probably my favourite just because it was the first. I would love to see them re-release it or offer some more alternative designs for the more or less non-existent interior of the hotel part...

Tudor Corner has the looks - it’s striking, varied, and just has a lot going for it. Looking forward to eventually getting it. My first official Modular building was the Police Station, and I think it’s a total slam dunk package - awesome details and thoughtful interior designs for viewing and accessing, and great storytelling (as well as references to other sets). It’ll always hold a special place for me. Bonus in that it also fits in nicely if I wanted to put it next to the Marvel Modulars like Daily Bugle or Sanctum Santorum sets.

Tudor Corner all day long. It’s a gorgeous building, gives you that perfect pub feel, the olde worlde building in a modern setting. This probably isnt a modular, more of an Ideas set but i’d like to see a Spanish Villa (with the Moor rounded minaret style building).

The jazz club is my absolute favorite. I feel like it captured the perfect balance between interesting building and interesting detailing and Easter eggs/fun stuff. The stained glass windows are such a cool detail and it perfectly captures the jazz club vibe from all the ones I’ve been to and the historic row building facade. So great. I would love an updated city hall, or maybe a library or post office instead if they don’t want to retread past ideas.

Great video! Congratulations. I just don't agree with the ranking given to the museum. I think it's ranking will drop a bit in the next years. I found it boring and expected more on the inside. Keep up the good work, happy new year

Angry comment. Loved the video, watch many of your videos, and one of the topics I've been searching for. Really liked the list, and think I agree. Looking forward to Tudor Corner. On another note, the CMF sets, I was hoping there would be an Animal Crossing CMF Serie in 2025. Do you have any favourites?

I think the Natural History Museum’s appeal is largely about nostalgia and not design. If you remove the classic LEGO references it is big, blocky, drab, and empty

Everyone puts Market Street on the bottom. But really I think it’s the Pet Shop. I actually like the Pet shop but many of the brown and red pieces end up breaking and I wish it was one large building dedicated to all sorts of pets. Ranking in order of release would be an easy way to do it though.

I built the museum recently and was a bit confused and disappointed by two things. Firstly, some of the internal walls in the ground floor don't reach the ceiling. Secondly, a clear floorplate would have been better on the ground floor to display the bones that are covered and not visible in the build as is.

Great comparison, you have a new subscriber 😊. I absolutely agree with your No.1 pick, I also love the Assembly Square and I‘m really looking forward to building Tudor Corner, it has the potential to take No.1 in my personal Lego modular list 😊. I would have ranked the Jazz Club higher, but that‘s just my two Cents. My overall favorite modular buildings though are the Mediterranean Villa by Bluebrixx, The Office by PanBo and the Cube Modern Villa by Mork (the latter two both designed by the great Ohsojang, of course 😊).

Would have loved a timeline or more visual representation of what your ranking is. Besides that, it is crazy that prices of these modulars have increased 50% since it started. They better freeze the prices. 200 was a great price point. 230 is pushing it. At this speed we will be towards 300 in a few years😢

I don’t understand why the Police Station ends up in the top 10 of so many lists. It’s so plain looking and it was the least favorite build of a modular I’ve ever done. Parisian Restaurant, Detective’s Office and the Brick Bank are my top 3 and hard to beat in terms of so many great Modulars being released close together.
@wai093718 сағат бұрын
Disagree. I actually appreciate how realistic and classic Police Station looks. It doesn’t have any odd colours on the main building but sensibly offers variation in a vibrant donut shop next door. And the build was excellent with thought put into a storyline with hidden details and lots of clever mini builds.
