well the sc one was just a new meta being held up. sometimes a strategy is so strong it gives you a 90% win rate if no one knows how to counter it. for mobas/fighting/fps that scenario is rare altho i dunno much about league or fighting games

For SF Shock, I think their lower bracket run in the playoffs is far more impressive than their golden stage. They might have won more maps in a row in stage 2, but they also didn't face the top tier talent that they faced in playoffs.

I know it's relatively small in comparison to all other esports, but Epsilon/NRG esports (org changed after a season, players didnt) had a devastating run through Smites competitive scene. At one point they played a team and had every single member play outside of their role and still bodied the other team.
