I have the full set of the 1951 Ringside cards. I recognized the Rocky when you were talking about it, had zero idea it was worth more than a few bucks. My grandpa was a huge boxing fan. Left me the set. They are all pristine, no wear or tear. I have never sent anything to PSA, but I'm about too lol. They will make a good college graduation gift for my future grandson!

I agree with you saying that Mike Tyson is not the greatest heavyweight off all times and that’s coming from a Mike Tyson fan. I believe that casual fans think Mike Tyson is better than he really was.

Tyson Fury Rookie Boxing Cards are the cards to buy and hold on to. There are more Michael Jordan Rookie cards and Wayne Gretzky Rookie cards then there are Tyson Fury Rookie cards. Tyson Fury cards are very Limited and only a small amount were made. As long as he stays Undefeated, his cards will continue to rise even Higher!! Very Low Print run, and Tyson Fury is Undefeated which makes his cards go Super High in Price $$$$

I understand boxing cards have been around but weren’t popular. Goes to show people will buy anything. Even tennis cards!

True, but from basically 1890s-1940s, boxing was the second most popular sport in the U.S. behind baseball. It took years for football and basketball to really catch on. Boxers were big-time celebrities in those days.

Theres certain people in boxing ali, jack johnson, john l sullivan, mike tyson, lennox lewis, joe louis, jack dempsey, ray robinson, ray leonard, rocky marciano, julio chavez who will NEVER DIE and will ALWAYS remain legends sometimes boxing dies off and sometimes its booming but there is a big difference between putting your life on the line and slugging it out for over half an hour than kicking a ball around or running with a ball in your hand. Boxing will never die it just has phases! P.S in 2-3 years the gypsy king will be on that list!

PSA mislabled it as Jack Jackson, but if you look at the nameplate of the card itself it's "Jack Johnson". Jack Johnson is his name.
