I could not do a scope on the NZ, it's off by so much, look at where you'd be aiming with the irons, then look at how far off the scope is, or red dot, whatever you have on it in the video. so bad.

Hi I'm not sure how to link people to my comment but I'm new to pc gaming and I got the looksmenu mod but I couldn't figure out how to get the overlays to work trying to sort this it's now not recognising I have the looksmenu mod I've deleted and reinstalled it through vortex and manual but can't get it to work, do you know anyway to fix this please would ve a great help

The best 'weapon' should just be a Nurf dart gun that is always 1 shot and they're down... It will speed up game play so you can complete it quickly.

I need that weapon limit mod. I tend to use the same couple of guns but then have a really hard time dropping things I *think* I'll use. I downloaded the ladder mod a couple of weeks ago but I haven't done any building yet. Definitely going to check out the FPS and crafting animation mod also. Thanks for this video.

The ladder mod and shadow boost are probably the two best to come out recently. Not to downplay the others they where good to but those two are great.

i recently got the new exotic animals for nukaworld. i haven't gone into it yet as my character is level 18 on a very high damage/realistic damage survival but I can so excited to see all these new animals. I'm also excited as before, safari zone and the surrounding area was just so empty and it didn't feel like the right theme for nukaworld.

Th PKM is lore friendly, the PK was introduced in 1961 and the PKM is just a "modernized" version from 1969. If the Service rifle is lore friendly then so is a PK

There's a lot of somewhat modern weapons that would be lore friendly like early ar series rifles and a bunch of soviet era weapons though i don't think those would end up in the US wasteland or at least not in large amounts

The timeline divergence in Fallout occurs in late 50s... so no, the PKM ain't lore-friendly.

And while there are some weapons that came out (in our world) later than the 1950s (.44 deagle and P90 being two that come to mind) that're in the Fallout Universe and are technically cannon. Those are select exceptions. For those out there who want to add modern weapons to your fallout, go for it, it your game - do as you see fit. But don't be calling it lorefriendly if it doesn't fit.

as the PKM was designed in 1961, I would consider it a lore friendly weapon Weapon Carry Limit should have a "sling/holster system" where you can only have 2 primary weapons and 2 sidearms available at one time with an {ACTIVE} tag places on them in the Pipboy, the rest should be in your inventory but unusable until one of the appropriate {ACTIVE} weapons is deactivated to be replaced (I.E. non active weapons are stored in your backpack, and aren't readily available at the drop of a hat)

There’s a mod similar to the side aim frame work but instead it lets you lean like siege it puts it to q and e you can lean even without a gun in your hand

If I'm thinking of the same mod you're talking about it also changes hitboxes so that you can crouch through spaces that you are able to fit through instead of acting like a wall abd this sometimes lets you do cool things like get into locked areas through other means than just lock picking and offers other approaches to entering some hostile locations for sneaky characters

If you get something like advanced needs it has a setting to respawn cleared locations after an amount of in game days which u can customize and if you don't want the other survival features all of that can just stay off though if all you want is the respawn feature there's likely a standalone mod that does that, other than that mods that add more creatures and something like the raider gangs overhaul which just adds more enemies in general but once you kill them all you'll be back to the same place you are now, same with quest mods, they'll have more enemies for a time but when you get through everything you'll really just need repawning enemies if you wanna have things to constantly grind

Just started playing 4 again after a couple years since I last played. Weird "bug" is that there are a few mods that didn't work initially and then randomly just started working. Cross Crit Gore-verhaul in particular, but I had at least one other and I can't remember what the other(s) would be. But I'm really wanting to find a mod to replace one that's been removed from Nexus since the last time, and it was something like "better settlement alerts" that would give you a pop-up alert that a settlement is under attack that's impossible to miss. I downloaded a mod that gives you a Scavver's toolbox to let you break down scrap into components while out and about like you can do in 76, and when you do, it gives you a message for each component and how much, and those settlement messages are easily lost in that.

I was thinking. If that Fallout amazon show is set in New York like so many are thinking, I wonder if they'll visit the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. Its a government facility that has a few conspiracy theories about it. Could be a good fit. I could see a lot of nasty things originating from there. Maybe even some FEV things.

People are talking about how Bethesda never has any creativity but they shaped a whole world which even vanilla on its own is good and gave us the tools to shape it even more, they did have creativity. They shaped whole factions and legendary systems and companions and quests from lines of code and gave us the tools to continue their work

@@luxor-uc2xs Sadly true so far, the only mods i found was some that reduce the amount of grass and debris added with 2 more modes to make the mods work better with the game as well as reduce the distance detail rendering which did help speed up the game play for the Xbox One, but it did crash eventually when i try to access my inventory while in the city crash zone areas of Fallout 4. Anyway i'll likely get a newer Xbox system of the X or S series as it doesn't crash on them then it does on the older consoles.

Most of these can't be found through the mod menu in fallout, which kind of sucks because I don't know how to use nexus properly. Messing with drag and drop files is frustrating, and it can break your game.

Just download a mod manager. I use Vortex but some people have something against it. I've had issues with it just like them but it happened back when it was fairly new. Now it works great at least for me. With a mod manager you don't have to worry the installation process as much. Just press download with mod manager, then install and enable at will. Modding the old way by extracting the files directly to the data folder is just annoying and time consuming when things go wrong.

Still playing Fallout 4..and it's all down to the modding community..which I stand in awe of. Hats off to the modders..in the face of a grey and cash fixated triple A game company market..the modders are the saving grace..they are like a triple Agame studio themselves and the world of gaming?.at award shows..they should find a way to honor the best modders..the world of gaming would be a much much poorer place without them. *applauds*

I think the one thing I hate about mods right now is the number of places mods are available. To explain Steam Workshop is the absolute best just download mod and play. Then you have in game mod systems Ex: Fallout 4/Skyrim, A more curated way to access mods but over all still simple and no risk of "hostile" mods. And lastly Other mod sites Mostly Nexus. It is annoying to say the least and downright off-putting at worst. Having to go off old guides(when available) or trial and error your way to figuring out how it all works. Downloading mod managers, handling files, worrying about load orders, and because these sites aren't curated the risk of "hostile" mods. Moding needs to be easy and quick and right now it mostly isn't

Picked up Fo4 on PS4 in 1/22, and am playing it constantly. I wanted to squeeze out a ton of game time with just the Vanilla game, before trying mods. I think I might be ready. But it’s very confusing. I’ve only ever played console, and this is the first game I’ve ever had that could be modded. It’s doubly confusing, because it’s not always clear if a mod is available for PS4. If there’s a hub or website for PS4 users, that could help sort this out, i hope to find it.

No. I will not. I have seen and done everything this game has to offer. I have probed the depths of its plot holes and marveled at its worldbuilding failures. I have proven that the player character isn't a synth, I have roleplayed ever character archetype I can think of. I brought Piracy, helped usher in a Mandalorian Clan and became Atom's champion. I have downloaded every weapon that interested me, played every vanilla faction dozens of times over. Downloading fallout 4 again, after 2k+ hours inside the Commonwealth is a thought that brings me nothing but revulsion. Good day, sir.

Ive got a old office computer with 26 Gigs of ram and a I5 cpu, problem is no gpu. I get about 11 fps at vault 111 with only performance mods, AHHHH I hate it so much.

I wish somebody would do a proper part of the ray gun from Call of Duty zombies to replace the Alien Blaster there is a mod that adds in the Call of Duty ray gun but it's animations are off and the coloring is too
