If I had to add some honorable mentions, I’d probably include: -Call of duty: black ops -Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2 -Terraria -Plants Vs Zombies -LittleBigPlanet (1-2) -(controversial) Fortnite (Ps fortnite probably had a massive effect on games because of how popular it made battle royales, and I genuinely enjoyed it up until season 6) But regardless, I fully agree that Minecraft deserves the number one spot.

Fortnite can’t be honorable it’s even bigger than Minecraft judging by collaborations/ real life events. All Minecraft did was have texture packs. Fortnite became part of the world.

Minecraft gave all of us a sense of happiness with friends and we all played Minecraft. Whether on the 360, PC, our phones, our tablets, we all played this game and enjoyed it. I think a decent honorable mention would be mariokart 8, it helped a bunch of party games come out to play, we all had that moment going to a friend's house and not knowing what to do, but then they have mario kart, most people don't know mario but they know mario kart, that's how iconic it is

Dude that description for Overwatch really hit home for me. I never got invested into games that much before and hated shooter games cause there was always such a high skill play level I could never get to and it was always too much. But Overwatch was my freedom from my world. I loved the characters and (what little there was) lore. Sadly I don’t okay it as much anymore cause the community is so toxic but I still love it
