You asked about stories of Damning Testimony popping off. I used it the first time I played Trish in a run of Innsmouth. I took Blackmail, then Surveil, and it REALLY popped off for Trish. Using the evidence to trigger her ability initially meant getting 2 clues off an enemies location in addition to one off of my own, or in a pinch one clue off mine, one clue off an enemy location, and an evade. Once I had surveil, that often became three clues off a location I wasn't even at for the cost of one evidence. I eventually took Fabricated Evidence to maximize the value out of each copy, but to be honest I think I would have been equally fine without it. Granted, it is hardly groundbreaking to point out that Trish is good, but it popped off hard enough that I now struggle to imagine NOT running it with Trish.

Fine Tuning is the card that allows you to unexhaust a Tool like Lockpicks.

Dirty fighting got a big boost in Hemlock as it fits underneath bewitching. No more chain-smoking until you finally remember how to fight dirty!

Underworld Market is so good at making other illicit cards good. I want to see other classes/traits get the search deck and setup and search ability.

Suggestion for a future video based in Bryn’s musings on Fence: Cards that were garbage, but now have now become playable (new investigators, new synergies, etc) or cards that may become good in the future.

Great video. Dirty Fighting is sooooo good, just so much better than any other card on the list. Btw, I've played Damning Testimony in two campaigns. My take is that it is indeed a solid card, and occasionally an excellent card. It doesn't excel as much as one would hope and is a bit cost heavy for the payoff both in terms of resources and xp. Fence is genuinely good with underworld market. Making 9 other cards fast is well worth the cost

That you cant start with underworld market on scenario one maddens me unreasonably. If you are doing a deck with it, you have a whole scenario with just, a weird incomplete deck. Winny with this is great, always be drawing skills you can use

One of my favorite decks ever was a damning testimony flashlight 3 and Joey the Rat 3 bob Jenkins deck. 6 book with the ability to lower shroud meant you almost never failed and could just sell all the empty items to Joey once you were finished.

Wilson Richards could be fun using lockpicks and "I'll take that!". Toss on Ad Hoc to get more uses out of the lockpics and that is two investigates at 7 skill twice for pretty much one action. At least from the perspective of a newer player that seems pretty good.
