Default takeover is the secret sauce. +6 to ALL offensive and defensive attributes. Makes my 6'2 guard have an 80 interior defense / 91 perimeter d/ 99 3pt / 87 middy/ 96 driving dunk/ 91 steal/ 86 driving layup + 80 closeshot & 83 post control/ 66 block/ 68 O&D boards and last but not least an 80 free throw that allows me to get those transition foul freethrows

Definitely not how that works… “+3 to all offensive and defensive categories” Meaning, if your 3pt rating is 93 then the added attributes enhance your 3pt rating to 96. I think where you’re misunderstanding the takeover is that each respective level of the takeover 1-5 does not stack with each other. So at level 5 you get 3 to all attributes, instead of +1, +2, and then +3. Still decent, but not worth it imo

I like how you make long descriptive video it helps me understand the game mechanics more often. I have a 6’6 Barkley with commander take giving me 95 interior, 83 block and 99 d board, it’s the most clutch defensive takeover for undersized bigs!

As a lock, why not Pest over Nuisance? You get +7 steal instead of +7 Strength, and everything else is the same

Most locks/ two-ways already have high steal, which would make it overkill... whereas with strength you're raising something in most likely the 80's or low 90's to the high 90's giving you 3 attributes in the 90's. Way more benefits this way getting strength instead of steal.

I don’t like that I have a 96 mid range but any takeover with midrange boost is irrelevant. Like I can never benefit from Silky shooter because it’d be a waste to use that takeover just for a plus 3

The best pro tune builds are 7.8 out of 10. Or even B- to B builds. So id reccomend for new or casual 2K players to prevent themselves from making garbage in the builder.

I never see people talk about skilled slasher , I think it’s great for 5 out PG the layup part sucks yes but I have a PG with 93 dunk and 93 three ball so when I’m in takeover I have the poster machine so they are scared of the contact dunk but it increases my 3 also so I have a 99 three in takeover so if they sag off cause slasher take that’s easy 3s

I like these vids laker …… but could you please teach the community the IMPORTANCE OF SPACING THE COURT and how everyone should properly be on the court based on the type of builds they got …… a lot of the times it’s not how these players play it’s about the SPACING and that matters in a game where steals and turnovers are so popular and overpowered….. @@gw672 depends on playstyle Flash more for slashers. Satellite & Make it rain are the same. The fact that Satellite gets Deep bomber gives it the advantage.

​@@gw672all three are great for pgs in general I personally use make it rain and flash. Make it rain is much better and more viable than satellite due to make it rain give a boost to stand still shoots and helps you get open really good for spotting up and pick rolls. What makes satellite worse is the long range shooting, it's more logical and better chance to take and make shots standing still or off the dribble at or a little bit behind the 3 point line and you still utilize hot/ lethal zones where as longer range you have no boosts and pretty much rely on a full level 5 takeover and limitless range badge which isn't that great
