Eusebio is possibly the most photogenic human ever.

That Mira Tuttosport sticker looks good

Thanks again for the weekly video. I won that memocell ronaldinho. It was going under the radar until the end it seemed. That pic does not really do the memocell image justice. Cool card and excited to add it to my ronaldinho collection.

Awesome card, looked great from some of the other photos I've seen. I have a Robben I believe from a similar set and I think the film cell is pretty cool.

Was bidding against you for the Garrincha. Did you snag the 1958 Titulares too? The PSA 1 went for only 57.

Small world lol. Threw a few bids on the titulares but backed off once I won the vecchi.

I would take the Bruno gold. I love Zidane cards, but this 2004 MGK is just another MGK in a good grade. I’d rather have a /50 of a super popular set of an excellent player. Not every single Zidane has to top every modern card (if anything I’d pay a premium for some cards of his in the different calcio sets - not all obviously)

All opinions are great, it would be boring if we all thought the same. I believe the Zidane is not just another pre-modern Zidane. It is THE MGK set, and in a PSA 10. Not easy.

I think the premium on the bruno is that it is his rookie year for cards.

Feels like a bit of a stretch since he's a 13/14 rookie, but that makes sense.

I feel more people are not trusting the publishers of soccer cards. I feel the fallacy here is other sport collectors are trying to comp soccer into another sport paradigm. The market is voting that megacracks bis of w “hot” prospect is it the gole standard. Since soccer is more global Lamine’s “true” Spanish card has more global demand. The on card auto ( that is a full sig) is a rare card. Due to replacement cost, travel to Spain and hope Lamine signs the card. There is a time/ energy cost ala replacement cost. Also, it is a timestamped via the cert.

Gold*

I can see why this would be the case when everyone is fomo'ing. A couple of points I'd make. First you say the Megacracks is the "gold standard", however Yamal has had 560 cards sell for more than a psa 10 megacracks has ever sold for. So I don't buy the claim that this is the gold standard. Secondly in regards to the auto, sure in theory it isn't easy if you want to go get a card signed yourself, but over time people will get this stuff signed in mass and then sell them off, which will drastically lower prices. Ronaldinho signed cards are abundant and sell for 100-200$. Ansu Fati megacracks PSA 10 were 2-5K for a couple years, now they're 60$. Time has a way of changing things.

Right. Maybe, gold standard is not the correct terminology. I would say it is the most liquid, and just in the context of Lamine. It is his only Spanish cards, were he helped Spain win the euros. There is already lineage in the brand and real/ barca fans both collect Lamine. That is why vini is so unloved in the hobby. Rival clubs won’t collect him. Regarding, the failed barca prospects. You are absolutely correct. I just feel globally the megacracks Lamine will be collected more organically. Then the full sig on card auto is a interesting variant. Maybe, not so appreciated. Lastly, the cert time stamp is pre euros. Which is cool as a historical item. I definitely could be incorrect. Maybe, no one will care. And just pattern match the hobby via the genesis 2017 era.
