Apparently, 3 body is filming season 2 and 3 back to back, according to Eiza González. So season 2 will be 2026, and season 3 will be 2027. Which lines up with the creators saying the show would go until 2027

I can understand the uneven criticism for Rings Of Power S2. But calling it a corporate cash grab is wrong IMO. If they wanted a quick cash grab, they wouldn’t be trying to tell a story about the Second Age. Instead they would be doing what WB is doing with The Hunt for Gollum.
