The problem with both those platforms is that they’re usually incredibly unreliable And especially when you consider that most 18 year olds don’t have a super high budget so you’re probably gonna be getting a project And there’s nothing worse than buying someone’s project Especially if it’s a BMW Honestly if you wanna work on something just go for a Civic or a Corolla They may not look aggressive stock But they’re reliable and easy to work on And they’re both really fun too

if you want a bmw get an e46, i think the e90/e92 are better looking but the e46 is tremendously more reliable

@ the e46 is definitely a good one to go for I’ve always liked the look and sound of those (Especially the M3) It definitely still needs a higher budget so it’s probably best to save up for one in running condition that didn’t get the crap beaten out of it
