Dragon Age Inquisition has some amazing skills that can deal huge damage.
Today I will show you the three highest damage producing skills in the game! These skills deal so much damage, everything else looks like a joke compare to them.

Another worthy mention is artificer archer rouge spaming throwing knives. It takes lots of levels to setup and propper gear but once you get there it's a monster. You need "Opportunity knocks" from artificer tree to get cooldown reduction from crits, "Looked liked it hurt" from sabotage tree to get stamina from crits and "Throwing knives" upgraded with "precision targeting". These are the core talents, add "Cheap shot" from sabotage to sunder enemy on every crit and i believe "pincushion" from archery tree counts for throwing knives aswell. Now all you need is enough crit chance which with black emporium dlc and crafting for crit is extremely easy to get. You basically become complete monster that can just spam throwing knives and solo everything even on nightmare. But you don't get that high damage because everything dies so fast.

I feel like Whirlwind is the one with the real limited use. Sure I won't wait four hours to one-shot a boss, but in a mere 20 seconds of battle you're already doing double damage and that's really good. And it can be a good source of Guard for your mages and rogues if you're not solo, with the upgrade that gives Guard generation. I know it gives less Guard than the description states, but I think it's still more than zero which is what those classes usually generate. Very helpful if you like to play with a party but is too lazy to craft high-quality gear for everyone, like I am.

Yup, especially with the frame rate drop. I can't fathom how that is a thing. What exactly changes after 15-20 minutes? Nothing. Yet, it starts dropping for absolutely no reason. At 1 fps it actually takes 10 sec to finish 2 spin for the 15%+15% damage bonus - unlike normally when it takes one second to do 2 full spin and get that 15%+15%. That is why it's worse than To the Death. Otherwise it would stack up faster...

This video is a lifesaver!! I was at my wits end. Im doing a nightmare run with some of the trials on and doing the JOH DLC... Got hammered hard and not in a good way so many times that I almost rage quit. I'm actually playing as a rogue archer and I do have the mark of the death ability...tried to use it before but it didnt seem like I was using right. Can you break down the steps you did in the video get that amount of damage that quickly. I would definitely appreciate it!!!

Color me a bit surprised you have Caltrops on your skills bar with your DD Assassin Rogue. Unlike playing a Rift / Elemental Mage or 2H Templar Inq. (my two absolute fav. PC classes to play in DAI), I can never get the rather short Caltrop stun to "work," with regards to timing / triggering inter party combos. And I haven't been that impressed with it's CC potential, i.e. the stuns too short, with a small AOE. Did I miss something with using Caltrops effectively??? Are you using it to "proc" masterworks in crowds? Does Toxic Cloud "proc" masterworks??? (I was trying to recall if it did.) I really wish S&S Warrior was as fun to play as 2H. Whether it's PC or NPC, I either never spec that way or quickly switch to 2H. Spamming combat roll isn't fun, nor is Whirlwind (for 2H).

If you are using the masterwork, then Caltrops is pretty good if you have multi hit skills. The upgrade, it's Immobilize, not Stun, so it does not work with combos, works when the masterwork procs and this is awesome against shield-carrying enemies, and it even interrupts bruisers. Plus it deals 70% of the damage of whatever procced it - if it is procced by Hidden Blades for example, it will be a pretty good OTD on the ground, especially if you litter the floor with it with multiple procs. :)

And i thought champion wasen't that fun, now i regret playing warrior for the firts time as a weaver, ALSO i just learn that about the marc of death pretty late and with a Archer cole, i would being so badass in my playthought as a dual daggers rogue with that :"D Damn with the specializations, the trainers should go about what they can do the specs, not about what they represent, "i don't give a fuck about that i am the inky and i need to be more powerfull in order to save your world you nerds" xD Still, i do prefer being a rogue all the way until the end Uwu i hope when you got time you do some tutorials about DA2 since is pretty mess up the nightmare difficult there, also a help with the bosses, for example the ancient rock wraith you find in the expedition, i think is kinda impossible to defeat without electricity resistance AND without Aveline :"D and the Arishook! that guy would be a changelle for iron bull i think xD Meredith and Orsino? meh they didn't have a chance with that many allies xD and Corhypeus? well in DA2 he IS a good of chaos :"(

Yeah, DA2 is pretty hard compared to Origins and DAI - at least in my opinion. It is the least balanced game from the three. I keep Aveline with me too, she is just too good of a tank to not bring. The Wraith is difficult since you are pretty low level when you fight it, but if you figure out its attack pattern it is not that hard anymore. Arishok is difficult because of the incredible amount bs that the game does during the fight. Still, the same thing applies there: once you figure out his moves, and the game's bs, it is not that hard. I even managed to kill him with my mage without ever taking damage(I made a video about it, I broke down the fight completely, so you can check out what you need to pay attention to during the fight). :)

Reaver is literally the best DPS for Warrior. Yes, Champion has "To the Death" but Reaver still dishes out more consistent DPS. Dragon Rage is very fast and even faster with a Belt of Urgency.

@@Franju98 The risk of Reaver is completely eliminated with an amulet of barrier + guard. All you gotta do is just micro-manage your health which isn't hard to do because your health is never truly in danger from enemy attacks with a barrier + guard.

Ty for the video sir was nice tips, But what about who plays the game with it's full settings ( Nightmare - Friendly fire On - all trials On), Whirlwind causes massive friendly fire, So it's a waste to unlock it, To the death is good but i prefer warrior Tanking, Hail to arrows is more deadly then marked for Death,

Yup, I did. :) I actually placed the Whirlwind skill on the E button, and just placed something on it then I went to sleep. So it’s actually less impressive than it sounds lol. Yes, it doesn’t work on the AI because after two spins, they stop no matter what. The AI doesn’t know how to hold the skill, it only knows how to activate it.

I am pretty sure all the damage shown here is 80% your overpowered gear, and 20% these abilities, cause when the base for these abilities so much higher, you do so much more.

Actually, none of these skills are really gear dependent. :) To the Death and Whirlwind are time based(WW is rotation based, but that can be translated into time) and Mark of Death is based on whatever damage you deal on the target. With To the Death, if you manage to wait long enough, you can one-shot anything with your base weapon(for example even if your weapon deals 10 dmg, in an hour that damage will be 1k+, in 10hr, 10k+ etc.). Same with WW if you spin long enough. +15% per rotation right? So if you spin for 5 hour and every spin gives 30% dmg boost per sec, even with poor gear that will result in immense dmg. Only Mark of Death is a bit different, since the damage there is based on how much damage you deal on the target in 8 sec. So naturally since you can deal more damage with better gear, Mark of Death can hit harder when you activate it if your equipment is solid.

When you stop to spin after in the game you are fine with the fps ??? The fps problem bug is only when u spin continuously ???? And when u stop the spinning and travel to onother map ....u continue just fine ????

The fps drop stops the moment you stop using Whirlwind. As soon as you let the button go, you are back at your regular fps.

With your builds and videos there are no bosses in this game. Only peasants 😂😂😂. After using some of your builds I have to constantly check to see if I’m on nightmare with the trials on!! Especially with walk softly, take it slow, and even ground on. Still killing everything sooo quick and easy. Ridiculous. The ONLY thing that may give me trouble at this point is the annoying promoted mages with the infinite spamming fade cloak 😭
