If you invest more into dex as a cunning rogue you would loose so much damage that it wouldn’t worth the hassle to build it. If you put more cunning on a dex rogue, you forgo defense for the sake of a tiny damage buff which also doesn’t worth it in my opinion since the best thing about a dex build is the high defense.

@@mauricewilks1974 Oh, that is not an extra Blood Mage. That is a spell called Animate Dead. You can summon a skeleton from the corpse of your enemies. If the corpse was a mage the skeleton will be a mage as well. :)

@@mauricewilks1974 They have different uses depending on your class. Warriors have Blood Thirst and Blood Fury. Blood Thirst will improve your critical chance and boosts your attack and movement speed. It also drains your health continuously. Blood Fury is basically an aoe knockback ability. Rogues have Dark Passage and Tainted Blood. Dark Passage is a passive skill that makes you move much faster when you are in Stealth and it also give +5% dodge. Tainted Blade is a sustainable ability. It will drain your health continuously, but it will improve your damage massively based on your Cunning attribute. Finally we have the Mages, with Dark Sustenance and Bloody Grasp. Dark Sustenance will take away some of your health and in exchange it will give you some mana. Bloody Grasp is a simple spirit damage spell, that works on everything, but if you use it against darkspawn, they will also take over-time damage for a shot time.

This is pretty much random when it comes to Cailan's armor. It's supposed to scale to your level, so it should be Dragonbone if you enter the area(this is important, the tier will be decided when you enter the area, not when you loot the armor) at level 18 or higher. However sometimes this doesn't work, and you can go there at level 25 and still get Silverite or Red Steel. At least that is my experience. To upgrade the armor, you have to sell it to a merchant, Bodhan for example or Levi at Soldier's Peak, leave the area and go back. It will scale to your level in the Ultimate Edition. You might have to leave and come back a few times, sometimes it won't upgrade immediately. The party storage box can do the same(not sure which version though), but not in the Ultimate Edition, or at least it doesn't work for me. Dragonbone is better, Silverite too, but to be honest, the tier upgrade is not that substantial(the minimum is always the third highest tier so it will always give good armor rating). And it's certainly not worth waiting until you reach level 18 to get your hands on this beauty. So just sell it to a merchant when you reach level 16 (silverite) or 18(dragonbone) and buy it back when it gets upgraded. It's considered a glitch, so I can't do it with this challenge, but you can! :)

Well, first off, Chaotic Focus straight up doesn't work with the Flaming Array upgrade of Fire Mine, so it's useless there. Second, even when I pick the normal Fire Mine, I still wouldn't want to strip 50% of my barrier most of the time for a little damage boost. Sometimes it can work great, especially when you have a great tank and you attack from range, but most of you what see in the video works totally fine as solo build, where unfortunately the last thing I want is to take away a huge chunk of my Barrier. :)

From Hinterlands archer bandits(they give the 75% dmg version) and the Sentinel Elves in the Arbor Wilds(they give the 100% version). You have to farm them because they have around 2-5% chance of dropping it. :)

@@alaingamache3908 They are pretty much everywhere. Regular bandit archers. There is a group that often spawns around the fort at the bottom of the map. :)

Yup. It is next to impossible to acquire 10 garnet before I go after K so I just sell it(he gives the quest so when you kill him the quest will be gone). I could get 5 from the Crime Wave quest but that would still leave me with waiting for 4 more to drop randomly. Not to mention, for me to be able to complete all of the Crime Wave actions I have to invest at least 1 skill to Steal which I can't afford here at the beginning because I need the skills for Coercion and Combat Training. :)

But I will get the game and play it myself(I don't really care about the graphics), so I can hopefully come up with some solid builds for the game. If I like it of course. :)
