The best EDC pen is the BIC 4 colours. I like the Grip Pro version the best. It's cheap, versatile, and you can lend it to people. I can also recommend the Tombow Airpress.

Great video Ian. I really like the Tombow Airpress for EDC, it comes in different colours for less than £8 on Amazon. I suspect using a tactical pen could get you into trouble here in the UK.
