Is there going to be a way to do a search by tag or ingredient eventually? Smart lists work well to create something, but being able to search the meta data for a tag, such as movies released in a particular year, would be helpful when quickly looking something up. Great app btw, I'm really loving it.

It might, but no timeline at this point. I'd recommend create a custom category though. Just an FYI "Board Game" is a reserved name in the app. You'll have to use something like "Boardgame" or "Board Games" or "Table Top Game"

It's a great app, Shawn. I use it all the time. Oh... when does 4.0 roll out? Is it an automatic update or is there something I'll need to do manually. I'm on Version 3.4.17/Build 359.
