The main problems with MRT are: - Unpredictable physics - Insanely grindey - updates mostly add content instead of improve shortcomings

@@Spherz the physics are because of the dynamic friction plugin with ac1.5 I think and the gravity too high And the bugs is probably just them being lazy tbh, I'm making a game specifically to not fuck up as bad as they do and I can't even figure out how to fuck up as bad as them and I'm 256 hours in Weekly updates are feasible and a car takes like 2-4 hours to tune to near exactly what it is irl if you're a slacker (by one person)

@@User-ghcwvouvmgs the main problem with the physics is that Roblox servers are slow by default, and those dynamic frictions are FE+ which means the are influenced by roblox’s servers and therefore heavily unpredictable, hence why I made my own dynamic tire script based solely on the speed of the vehicle (and using throttle to naturally initiate oversteer) The other thing is, I spoke to a developer of the game and they said that the chassis is completely recoded to actually be powered by body forces instead of the wheels💀 Also it seems almost 0 Roblox games have realistic downforce for their cars

PTD is planning on adding more content this year beyond just vehicles I've been loaded onto the team for new maps of a higher quality standard too, hopefully 2024 will yield many great additions if all goes well! Great video

Project trackday by far has the best handling system with very accurate over/understeer. Roblox rally is also accurate but less comparable due to a different nature of racing ION had realistic and logical handling albeit with too much traction on corner exit Apex feels like it has too much downforce at certain tracks, where sometimes corners can be taken faster than possible but works well in low speed corners

​@RoArthur I think it's because the wasd controls can only control movement by going 100% on throttle, 100% on brakes, as well as left and right. If you use wasd keys for some other realistic games, such as beamng, it will become apparent that they oversteer as well. Its biggest problem is the amount of bugs it has

I think the devs of Project Trackday have pretty much abandoned it to focus on Midnight Racing: Tokyo. That game gets way more frequent updates and Indycars were leaked for PT years ago..

For the games, I do play Project Trackday often and I appreciate driving gte cars because the sound is great just like physics of the cars. The PTD Indianapolis map had way more than just an oval, unfortunately the higher up devs didnt set up the inner circuit for racing & times but otherwise everything else is correctly said about the game

@@RoArthurOh the story of the Indy update was an absolute wreck, the only thing that was consistent was the Track being made (YK the thing that takes the most time to do) . It took about five months in which that time all the other Devs had to do was set up two cars, the timer, and corner cuts. At least the update had an upside which was just how detailed the new map was

Honestly project track day isnt really that bad but what i mostly prefer is Apex Motorsport as the steering is pretty okay and decent but a lot of updates will be coming this year for better handling and etc.

I just wish there was a dedicated Indycar, IMSA, and WEC game. IMSA would have every GTP, LMP2, and GTD(P)/GTD car, WEC would have same for the WEC cars though. If only I could develop a game and get licensing rights (or knockoffs, kinda like BeamNGs Dead Bull for Red Bull).

Im sorry, but the level understeer on Project trackday and the fact it is very easy to oversteer from any angle out of a turn is a big no for me, especially the harsh penalty system (you get 7 seconds for just going a tiny bit outside of track sometimes). That makes the game easily go to a 3.5/10 overall.

project trackday is good but one major flaw is with the cars. steering gets stiffer the faster you go and the higher you shift up.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue while playing ION Formula Racing on your phone. When you spawn any car and accelerate forward, the car doesn't move but only revs. However, when you accelerate backward, it moves, although it doesn't make sense to drive in reverse. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know.

ION is currently a buggy mess, it has been discontinued and developers are developing the sequel, so I doubt there is a solution.

if im correct project apex was also the first race game to reach over 1k current player during a period as a og player who start playing project apex back in late 2021 when the game had 85 or so players i know one day this game will be on top with ion formula and it turns out i was right and now im more exciting to see what the furture holds for project apex and to me project apex had a more stable platform then ion formula so i dont think ion formula will fall in the same fate as ion formula did anytime soon

I personally think that Touge Legends is the best but thats just my opinion. - The sense of speed is amazing (for roblox) - You can blow your engine by overrevving or overheating -Tire wear is realistic -the sound is amazing (dont even try do drive the r32 it understeers like hell)
