Please stop asking me where this or that level is, I've included all top 50 extreme demons that were on the demons list at the time I uploaded this video. I did not forget any levels. Also, I'm aware that I made some mistakes in this video, and I apologize for that. I didn't spend much time researching the levels themselves because the focus of this video was not to document these levels or anything, but to arrange from worst to best, which just requires me to look at them without context. Just wanted to adress this real quick since I've been getting a lot of comments about this. Either way, thanks for the support. :)

I think killbot should be placed higher. I don't care about the quality of the creator's personality just the quality of the level, copy and paste is used all the time, and the flashes that cover the screen make sense, because it's a memorization demon. Complaining about the flashes is like complaining about a pentagram in a hell themed level.

Sumsar’s part in SubSonic is bad for a reason. Im pretty sure he was invited in the collab because Viprin wanted some of the original Sonic Series creators to be in (in prior to that Hypersonic was criticized because it didn’t adopt original creators from Super Sonic) So Sumsar, who hadn’t been playing a lot, was pulled in to decorate the part (as well as xcy-7)

I'm too lazy to look through comments for this information, but Sakupen Hell's ending section was only the straight fly because of the 20K object limit at that point in time. The dual wave was added once the object limit was raised, but it turned out to be completely impossible at the time for a standard run, so it was then re-replaced with the straight fly when TrusTa verified the level.

7:33 Incorrect. Straight fly was the original part of sakupen hell back when it was released. Dual wave was added later (actually is was in 2.0 if i'm not mistaken) and replaced the ship because noobas went mad about cataclysm being rated and sakupen hell being completely ignored by robtop.

I love the amount of work you have put in this vid, but I don't really agree with how you rate every demon. For example, a memory demon needs that kind of messy stuff to make it a memory demon. Also, Some of the levels can also be rated by their sync more than only the colours etc. And you can't rate 1.9 demons low because they are good for at that time, in 2.11, we have become a lot smarter with designing and we have more options in the level editor. But great vid quality overall.

Actually, you got a LOT wrong about Sakupen Hell. For one, you missed the fact that the mini wave parts are quite literally copy pasted over and over. You’re also mistaken on that ending dual mini wave. That was actually added in a SECOND version of the level. The very first version made by noobas had the straight fly.

Not every level can't be perfect ideally when they start. Even though generic level nowadays, are so boring that I can even sleep while playing. I think that WHErwin has an ability to find out the worst part of the level, and the best part, too. It was such a long video, and outdated. So, where's the point to ask adding other demons? (Zodiac, for example.) (My shitty opinions, literally) : Killbot's theme is kind of messy, I can agree with that. "Memory demons" doesn't really have to be that messier than any other memory demons. For my opinion, to be honest, Killbot should be under the conical depression. Down bass, is not even a "generic nc". It's just a "historical level" not in a good way, seriously. First off, the vomit green (which WHErwin mentioned already) makes a level a lot more garbage. Also, to the hearts and fire effects, why valyrie had to use them?

You said the hell factory took inspiration off of cataclysm. The hell factory was the first big hell demon so it wasn't really generic or heavily inspired for its time. When it was first planned, cataclysm didn't exist. When it was legitimately verified, it was in 2.0 but that still doesn't make it any more generic because it was made so long ago. The release may have proven a bit awkward though, as other hell demons after it have manifested before legitimate verification.

I am pretty biased on the Artificial vs. Digital thing because 1. I saw artificial first 2. Artificial’s song is WAY better 3. IT WAS 2.0 AND DIGITAL IS 2.1 AND ARTIFICIAL HAS INCREDIBLE DECO So I do think that Artificial deserves the higher spot, but honestly there are literally my favorite parts of any level ever in Digital Descent. I’m pretty split on this one and I don’t know which I would vote.

They didn't look terrible back then, I actually love early 2.1 levels. Also people still only really care about difficulty to this day
