@@curvyflowder8296 bud, you and me both... I grinded out for 4 hours on on of the max length red and black ones only for it to show up as some super ungodly ugly color scheme..

It's not a bug. It's just bad game code and typical lazy, half-cheeked HelloGames game updates and lack of game polish, where they basically think "this is fine" and let tedious issues stay in the game for half a decade. Similar to the way that they don't care whatsoever that your base teleporters magically vanish if you use the same name for multiple bases on a planet (which has been a very serious bug for a decade, ever since launch). So, here's what happened... In the past, we could not own freighters. They were background decorations. Fleets spawn near you when you stop from pulsedrive. So to make the fleets look cooler and more cohesive, the game picks a random color and puts it on every ship in the fleet, as a temporary override of the real color (which is determined by the ship's seed). If they didn't do this, all fleets would look clown colored. That code was fine when we couldn't own freighters. Now it's an issue. We see a fleet, but it's not the color we will actually get. The actual default colors are purely determined by the ship seed, but you will not know those colors until you inspect it to buy it. When you buy it, the "fleet color override" is removed. It's a bold move as a game designer to leave such massive annoyances as "the color changes after purchase" in the game for half a decade. But that's just typical behavior from HelloGames. Not surprising from them. There are ways to look at the color of destroyed cargo pods ahead of time, to determine the real color, because parts of the cargo revert to the real color on destruction... but that's tedious. Either way, we can paint freighters now. Which will apply the custom paint on most surfaces (a few places will keep the original, true color though, so be sure you like it too). You can get black paint as an unlock.

I'm trying to find number 45 on your list, ive gone to the solar system using the cords but no luck ( a different pops up). Is there another way I can find this particular freighter?

its hard to see but from what i can decipher on the bottom , its not in the galaxie you are in , best would be to go to the reddit page where its from to get more info .

Either 1 your in the wrong GALAXY, or you haven’t played for 3 hours and warped 5 times, thats what you need to get CAPITAL ships, that you have to fight for.

Are you making sure that you're getting into the frieghter battle?
