Agree. There were many where I was like, that’s what you’re SUPPOSED to do. I guess many of these tips are for people that are new to handyman type chores around the house.

The one with the lock and spanner, doesn't look like it would work, because, all you have to do is lift the spanner up in the middle and keep the lock straight, and pull through. Perhaps it needs smaller handles.

At 38seconds you dont plyers to extract the nail. You bend it with the claw side ways then pull out with claw.

The wire splice is a definite second best way to join them if it's for electrical use. I have to admit that I've seen worse however.

I'm not hating on the video. There were some decent hacks that I've now seen. The one thing that really makes me cringe is when someone pulls a knife towards their hand instead of away. The scence where he used a lighter to heat the end of caulk tube and then proceeded to pull the box cutter towards his other fingers and hand is just a disaster waiting to happen.
