I've been loving watching you recommend middle grade books. You've got me to read quite a few middle grades that I've absolutely loved. I always felt funny and dumb because I"m in my 40s and I love to read children books, but you made me realize that it doesn't matter how old you are, you can read whatever you enjoy reading. Just want to say how excited I am that I found your channel! I have really enjoyed reading middle-grade books for a long time, but since my kids grew up and moved out, I haven't been "in the know" about good ones that are more recent. And by that I mean mostly the last 10 to 15 years have gone by without my reading anything new in middle-grade (my youngest is 25 so...). Can't wait to try some of your recommendations!

It has an adventurous story combined with wonderful sibling dynamic, which reminded me a bit of A Pinch of Magic, so I'm thinking you might love it too.

I didn't really read many "clear" middlegrades last year, but one that I absolutely loved was The Way To Rio Luna by Zoraida Córdova. I hope that she will write more middlegrade books and I really need to start read more of them!

I've heard a lot of people review that Orion Lost, but I have a kid/middle level book from like the 1980s called Sleepers Wake that has almost the same exact plot. And similar to the more mature movie Passengers too

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is the book that got me into reading. You should read the sequel series; I think you will love them: Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo.

Finally getting around to watching this. Kept it for when I needed some cheering up. I bought all of Sophie Anderson's books on your recommendation and still haven't got to them yet. I know shame on me. Wonderscape was amazing. I need the next book now. It's amazing I want to read it again. Bought it for Believathon and loved it so much. it's probably safe to say in new year when it's safe to leave the house I am going to Waterstones and just buying everything and probably breaking my bank.

Amari and the night brothers is going on my tbr now! The castle of tangled magic is also on my tbr already and I am so looking forward to it. I think I haven't read any science fiction middle grade before so that is going to need fixing D: I should try orion lost in that case. I read the christmasaurus on christmas eve this year and I like the idea of doing the same with next year. So I will probably save miracle on ebenezer street for next year christmas eve! The Language of Ghosts is on my TBR! I have it so maybe it could be a pick for the Middle Grade monthly??? hihihi I just want to read it haha Ok The Castle of Tangled Magic is also on my Priority TBR Cart haha Yes the Polar Bear Explorers' club is one of the best series! Read them all one after the other haha Wonderscape is on my tbr! To Train to Impossible Places! The audiobook was good! I will definitely listen to the sequel Orion Lost! I didn't read that one when you read it I'm so sad but I will at some point!! I want to read Scritch Scratch!! Potkin & stubbs was amazing! cannot wait for continuing with the series! Wildspark sounds amazing! Loved the Haunting of Aveline Jones!!!! Can you believe I still haven't read frostheart 2? no don't be mad please GreenGlass House! I want to read it! They stopped translating the Amelia Fang (Amelia von Flatter) books in German after book 3, which think is very sad because I enjoyed them. I will read the rest of them in English, but I still think it's a pity. I also really want to read a Sophier Anderson book!
