New favorite KZbinr 😊🧡🧡. However sick leave is limited to round 3 months i think, where the employer pays you 100% of your salary, after that if you are sick the medical insurance company take over and pay you around 70 to 80% of your salary (krankengeld) for around one year and a half i think 🤔. N.B they don’t just pay you to sit at home, if you are sick this is the chance to sort out your Problem, e. g going for physiotherapy, rehabilitation, counseling etc. After that and still sick you surely must have lost your job by now😂😂😂 you fall into arbeitslosen geld ( unemployment) ( this is only applicable if you have worked for more than 2 years in Germany) they pay you 60- 70% of the previous money you earned strictly for 1 year as they help you to find another job. After here if you are still sick you officially enter Harz 4. ( government mercy/ help) feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

A question. Are there any limitations to being a nurse in Germany if I have a "physical condition"? I have mild scoliosis, that is, my spine is a little crooked and that limits me for some physical jobs that require a lot of strength or endurance and in my country I am not usually considered for all jobs. Does this happen in Germany? Thank u so much for the video!

You say those with diploma in midwifery need to go to university. What about those with Registered diploma in general nursing?
@Leilahval3 ай бұрын
For midwife diploma is less. And for general registered nurse a diploma where you have studied for not less than 2 to 3years will be recognised halfway if there is a deficit or be fully recognised if no syllabus was left out. But note; in Germany we study for 3 years meaning if you have the same years of study for your nursing certificate it's of a big advantage than a person with just 2years.
@wesleychingwalu48633 ай бұрын
@@Leilahval Where I come from, we study nursing for 3 years and in the 4th year we study midwifery. But midwifery is optional such that to study it or not. As for me, I only studied for 3 years meaning that I have no knowledge in midwifery. Does that make me half qualified? It's still Registered Nursing
@Leilahval3 ай бұрын
@wesleychingwalu4863 no i don't think that will affect you at all. Coz like I said midwifery in Germany is a Studium so it has nothing to do with the normal nursing. If you are planning on doing your Anerkennung one thing that they suggested is to provide a form from your school to show the syllabuses that were covered during those 3years of studying

Hi Leila, how to get an Ausbildung with a B2 certificate please
@Leilahval3 ай бұрын
After you have got B2 certificate. You can check on indeed.com or just on Google for hospitals in the city you would like to stay in and apply there normally on their website they put emails where one can contact for jobs and ausbildung

It's good if you apply to atleast 3 hospital so that atleast when one doesn't reply you get a chance from another

Hello Val, is it if an advantage to get a driver’s license in my home country before traveling to Germany to be a nurse?
@Leilahval3 ай бұрын
The driver's license will not be recognised one has to repeat the theory and then do the driving practice too... But I will say it's of advantage atleast if one know already how to drive because then you might not need too many practical hours like a person starting from scratch coz also the drivering school is expensive. And the more driving hours one needs, the more expensive it gets for mine I paid 5000euro

Where can we apply for these nursing asblindung job from outside Germany
@Leilahval3 ай бұрын
You can find Ausbildung places at Azubi.de indeed.com Or you can just Google hospitals or Care homes in the city you like and apply there. They usually leave their email for applications. I takes are in April and October make sure you know which intake you want also it's better if you are outside Germany you apply 6 months early or even earlier coz then you have enough time to do your pepper work

Hy Leilah thank you for such an informative video. I did my nursing degree in south africa and I just passed 2/4 of my B1 exam, woukd repeat the other two modules next month. I have a question ma, 1) someone told me that nurses with university degree from South Africa doesn’t have to write the German nursing exam anymore, pls is this true 2) I was told after my B1, I can go directly to B2 Pflege instead of the general B2 is that a thing Pls I look forward to hear from you
@Leilahval3 ай бұрын
Yes it's possible that you might not need to do an adaptation course... And about doing B1 and then B2 focusing on the nursing Fachsprache is also a good strategy I believe it will be accepted

Yes if you have your B2 certificate you could make it. Also it's good if you have studied your nursing for not less than 2 to 3 years. And to even make your CV more attractive gather experience first for example they prefer when a nurse comes with atleast 2years experience "hospital experience "

They don't automatically offer it to you. One has to ask for it... So during your application after they have said yes to you. Then ask them if they can provide you with a student apartment. To be able to get a chance to get one, you have to apply earlier enough coz the apartment can get quickly occupied.
