My favorite as a kid and it gets overlooked. Talent for the Game. Came out in 91 i believe. Edward James Olmos, Lorraine Bracco. Olmos plays a great scout. Totally believable on his part.

The Sandlot is easily my number 1 baseball movie of all time. Also there is a baseball movie called Undrafted. There’s a scene at the end that doesn’t do it for me but it’s like Bad News Bears if there were all college kids playing in a summer league.

@pathnativejam There's definitely no right/wrong here. I like The Natural because it feels like it has everything in it. Baseball play, championship victory, morale story, good vs bad, and a love story. Sandlot is on it because it's the best baseball kid movie, League of their Own represents women and comedy, Field of Dreams for a different and dramatic perspective on baseball, and Moneyball because it's a perfectly crafted movie. I would consider replacing Moneyball with Bull Durham or Major League, but I like my list because it doesn't have overlapping concepts. Both Major League and League of Their Own have a championship like atmosphere with comedy, they are very similar, whereas Moneyball is different. I also prefer the love story of The Natural vs Bull Durham. So that's my list.
