Regarding ElvUI I highly suggest making two setups. One for DPS/Tank and one for Healing, where the healer has unit frames right in your face, while DPS/Tank has less clutter etc. When that is done, set it to auto-swap when you respec. Super handy!

For the bar at the bottom, if you go into elvui and go to actionbars and disable it, it will be hidden but still be working. Might be helpful :)

Hey guys if you find this is too wide for your screen I dragged the bottom action bars up to just below the higher action bars and it seemed to reset the ui to fit the screen not sure if it will help you but worked for me

just a small mistake in the UI, u have to shorten the player castbar and classbar by 1 (290 to 289) to perfectly align with the power bar and aktion bars

For an alternative to Argus Elite Tracker and Handy Notes (for rares on Argus) try out RareTracker (mods.curse.com/addons/wow/279049-raretracker). It has both a list of rares as well as world and mini map icons. It allows for scanning of groups, joining and creating groups for a specific rare, but it shares information via the WoW addon channel to inform other users on your server when a rare is up.

Argus Elite Tracker is so bad. Since people don't make groups for normal rares but only for the mount dropping ones you will barely see any groups (thus teh addon won't show them as being up).

If you're concerned about resource usage, you shouldn't use Handynotes at all. It's horrendous with CPU usage.

This is the problem with giving advice on addons' resource usage. Everyone assumes that your system is dogshit and made of ancient wood. Do yourselves a favour and get a CPU usage checker for addons and look at CPU usage. Handynotes is horrendous, along with other stalwart favourites like Bartender, Masque, Altoholic, Mogit, and a bunch of others. CPU usage is the worst bottleneck for addons, it's not memory; but people still keep focusing on memory for some reason. "Oooo, this addon uses only 700kb of memory" means fucking nothing when you have 16GB in your system. It's CPU usage which is the killer.

Bull This is somewhat of a revalation to me. I have a 6600k at 4.3ghz and, according to msi afterburner overlay, I'm STILL bottlenecked by cpu in WoW, and I use Bartender, recount, and dbm. I see my gpu going from 99% usage to like 30% and suddenly a huge framerate drop.
