I think the effort level has been there all season it was the continuity and execution that was the problem, but now that we've got guys back and they've had a chance to play together for awhile we are starting to see what this team can become. 😊

When we were at the peak with our injuries, no team took it easy on us. Hawks just going through the same thing now with injuries and it is ok. What goes around comes around. We are still not 100% so we will take every win we get.

Easy Schedule, decent bench production, is making us look a lot better than we currently are. Bench is up and down. We need to male some good trades, not jyst for 2nd rd picks. Maybe pkg Olynk and Brown, and get back say Nurkic, 2 2nd rd picks, or another decent centre. No more damn wings please. Or go all in with Boucher, Brown, Olnyk and a 1st and a 2nd, for Fox? Or IQ, and some form of bench guys and a couple of 2nds for Fox. Claxton is availble, Vucevic is avail. Otbers. Fill the damn glaring positional needs like C, with a good, not halfass, player.

I don’t get why people are complaining. The season’s about development.When the players start playing good yes w’s come. Scottie is scoring more consistent and rj seems like he randomly remembers he can play defense. If by the end of the year we get A consistent scoring Scottie (+less turnovers)and a 2 way rj?? (also with less turnovers) Thats a w season and great start. Just gotta figure out iq and gradey.

🤬🤬🤬 first 5/6 for Darko but I think ATL is paper tiger. Nets will catch us and we are F’ing up draft. I like all our players but we need more defense and talent before we go for upward launch. Maybe we do that next year but if we mess up draft we are into treadmill or longer rebuild. 🤬🤬🤬

The draft is a crap shoot. Look at Detroit. They finish with the worst record in the NBA for 3 years and picked 5th all 3 years. Last year the Hawks finished 10th in the east and got the 1st overall pick.

@@lindsayseal8504 you are 100% right that is why you want to be very worst 4-5th pick so, that if others move up you can only move back 4 spots and that still give us top 10 pick. If you start at 9-10 you basically are increasing the “crap shoot”. Imaging how bad Detroit would be with the 9-12 pick those three years vs the 5th? They would still be deep in rebuild rather than starting to come out.

Personally I think they should be looking to trade RJ and one of Davion/Ochai to a team that has bad contracts they want to get rid of for picks. I really like all three of these players but I think RJ's value is at its peak and hiss price is about to get too high. The other two are placeholders anyway. And the tank gets way tankier without them. But even if they don't pick in the top 3-4, remember, there's almost always a guy in the back half of the lottery or even further down that would go at least top 5 in a redraft. The trick is to get that guy.
