regardless of if you're a thiem fan or not, you have to admit thiem was a force to be reckoned with in 2019 and 2020, with one of the most hard hitting guys on tour. he's lacking the physical and mental capacities in some areas rn, but im not too worried, he's got the drive and ambition to win many more titles still

@@regulusarcturus Yeah mate just totally ignore him going to the French Open grand final (going through Novak in the process). Winning the most titles in the year (tied with Novak), ATP Finals runner-up, consistent enough results for him to be world number 4 (literally behind Rafa, Novak and Federer at that time). Some people only care about the slams, you clearly being one of them.

Dominic is inspirational --look how much he anguished over his wrist, the challenge of wanting to heal, yet not re injure to end a career and play at his best. The trajectories of tennis players these days are unpredictable (Nadal, Goffin, Fritz) similar to the world rn and what a better place the world is with Dominic here. Friend to all. One of my favorite players and wish him well. ForOcean supporter. Gives back. So happy to know young people like him are here to usher in a better world.

Domi is not just a great player, but a great person who is very humble, down to earth and always brightens us with his lovely, infectious smile. I had followed his recovery process and it was tough, but Domi with his perseverance managed to overcome this first major injury of his career. While he will likely have to grind through the ATP Challenger Tour in the near future to rebuild his ranking, he’s looking hopefully on the right track. Just needs some matches, and hopefully a few wins soon. I feel he’s got more title wins to come, especially once his old level comes back. The tennis world has missed this bundle of sunshine! ☀️☺️🧡

You are probably right, but the way tennis is structured, he needs wins to get more matches. Maybe he should a couple of challengers to get some match experience. Thiem seems to be very much a rhythm player, the opposite of Nadal or Federer, who can hit a fairly high level after a long period without match play.
