The Tower | Episode 4 | 32 Billion Into Workshop + Devo

In this episode I spend some coins and show how I Devo at the start of a run, I can gain a pretty good health multiplier for how high my Death Wave cooldown is.
If you don't know what Devo is, it is a strategy where you leave many workshop upgrades untouched so that your death wave can kill as many enemies as possible, each enemy it kills gives you a health multiplier if you have researched it in the lab.

Just started watching your vids, did you have any stones in cd at this point? Or default cd for DW

At this point it was at 4 minutes and 10 seconds, which I think is 5 stone upgrades.

why didn't you raise the "Range" part? To get more coins from Golden Bot?

If you mean the range on the Black Hole, then it's because I don't want the center of BH to be off, even though it's safe up to 34 meters. I'm not gonna mess with it. If you mean the golden bot, then I was probably saving for something else.

@@HalfLifeBhopper yeah that's one of the reasons, enemies also spawn closer, and orbs are able to kill some enemies before they reach my range, which puts less pressure on my tower. I think there is a list of reasons on the discord for having lower range, in one of the guides.

Correct, but there is a new update where you don't need to actually kill enemies with death wave for the health bonus, so this strategy is not needed anymore, it just depends on if you have death wave or not.

I started Devo with 5b ish workshop coins now. Dunno if its worth it tho. Would you level Health and DMG equally?

If you have trouble getting to 7x hp, damage might be better to upgrade in the workshop as long as you can max health with cash in the round.

So death wave can get as many kills as possible and I can get the highest health multiplier. The strategy is called Devo.

It is good once you upgrade it some, it is one of the best things to upgrade with medals if you haven't already
