I never got why people thought ben afleck was so bad at acting,its the movies that he's been in that let him down,but in the town which he directed he has not only shone as a director,but also in the town he has shone as an actor,good on you!.

To anyone who has seen both "The Town" and "Heat", does The Town have a gun battle scene as comparable to the climatic shootout in Heat? I loved Heat, and I especially thought the gun battle scene was one of the best shootout scenes in cinematic history. I would love to see if anything in The Town can match that scene.

Dude it's a A grade movie. It was Oscar nominated & had a 50 million dollar budget. It's also the best heist movie since heat.

c'mon, what the flick. this movie was absolute garbage. how you guys bought into this implausible, cliche, overgrown Lifetime movie is beyond me. seriously. you could practically see these wankers sitting at a Starbuck's toiling over this crappy "Good Will Robbing" script.

Horrible movie. Over done predictable cliches. Nothing original about this movie. Weak, weak, ending. The accents are too over the top that you miss whole conversations because you can't understand a word that said. And worse of all, it wasn't entertaining. Could care less about any of the characters. Just wanted it to end and never want to watch it again.
