I have a few tips for you being newbie to the game: 1. Don't use scrolls of bad/underpowered roles, save them for when they get buffed, if ever. 2. If you have problem learning basics, you should start with either Classic or Ranked Practice non-Coven. Learn those roles to perfection. (Like you selfheal as doc and it doesn't show anything to the attacker, but it shows "defense too strong" if you selfvest as Bodyguard. Basic knowledge of mechanics will save you games.) 3. If you intend to play seriously Ranked, you must know to "cc" other people claiming your slot. For example you are Vigi, someone else claims Veteran, so you cc them. Smart Town won't lynch anyone without someone ccing them, no matter how suspicious they appear. If nobody cc that role, it's safe to vote innocent most of the time. 4. As both Town, Mafia and NK you try to get trust of other town members, so acting as Townie as possible is only good for you. If you are easily faked role, like Sheriff, Investigator or Spy you should claim very early on and post your results daily, at least to the Jailor if there is one, so they know who to not jail and make you look more credible. As Spy you post results no matter what they are, you just always share that info asap. Bug can sometimes confirm you, so try bugging people that call or might get visited by Lookout/Escort/Transporter.

Btw what happened when Steve died is the someone(I think sk) attacked Jerome, sk is immune(I think I dont play coven to much) then mafia killed Steve, that's why Steve died and protected you while not killing the sk. Idk I could be wrong but that's what I think happened

Crus does not work like BG. A BG delevers a powerful attack and no defense. A Crus grants powerful defence and a basic attack. So if someone has a basic defence then they would live through the attack.

Jerome I won my first game of town of Salem and I didn't think it was hard until my second time as arsonist then I died so if you think arsonist is a hard role it can be it just depends on the other people's level of intelligence and your capability to lie I didn't really have to lie my first time though I also had a medium that helped me at the end and a song as my will i wrote on night 1 and 2

When Jerome says some people have bad luck it remind me of time I was playing Town Salem as escort I role blocked 1 town because decide go down the list in order and he was mafioso so couldn’t do anything also during night I block him I became vamp and next night the pirate pirated him roleblocking him again and pirate killed him so didn’t get kill one person in entire game also in rest game who ever why try infect just die on that night so one final voting day me other vamp have majority and there was coven leader and mafioso left and we didn’t know who was who and hanged mafioso given coven the win as coven leader have defense with nercocomicon so vamps were not able kill him
