The Toxic First Turn Kill - Pecharunt

Status conditions are a very niche part of the Pokemon TCG. There has rarely been a deck that relies on special conditions as its win condition. Some cards in the past have seen play in decks for their ability to inflict your opponents Pokemon with special conditions in order to get extra bits of damage or slow them down. With the announcement of Shrouded Fable, we also received the reveal of a new status condition card, that card being the very promo you receive from the ETB. However this card has a high potential to see competitive play, when combined with other cards it has the ability to win the game on the very first turn. Let's take a look at Pecharunt.

I use Hisuian Samurott VSTAR as a backup attacker for late game. Very fun deck, btw! Maybe evo decks need to incorporate new counters, like Snorlax doll?

Forgot about binding mochi. Also raises okidogi attack to 350, with sneasler, and perilous jungle.

I prefer alolan raticate & closdire ex. Clodsire can make an active pokemon poisoned as long as a stadium is in play, and A. Raticate can reduce HP down to 1.

I'm going to use this deck to farm exp and battle pass points in tcg live. Either surrender first turn or win first turn ;)

I was building something like that but instead of Pecharunt, Perilous Jungle and Radiant Sneasler I just put in the new Scolipede that puts damage counters on until my opponent has 10 remaining HP and Klawf as an alternative beater. This way I can oneshot any big threats that move up without having to rely on swapping my opponents Pokemon to lock something that can't just KO Pecharunt turn after turn while surviving multiple poison turns in the active.

This looks like a pretty solid option in the charizard meta. I think it's consistent enough that you might see more than the marked deck bros running it. Everybody like this video before the lesage bros claim they invented it

The pokemon doesn't stack. It says as long as it is in the active spot you put damage on them.

The ability specifically says "While it's in the active spot" so no it wouldn't

It might be a solid tech option to hit weakness but 180 for two energy just isn't enough damage in this metagame. Did I seriously just have to say that? TPCi lay off the crack.

I really want to run this deck, @ptcgradio mentioned it and it seems so annoying to deal with
