One thing I'd recommend is a binding mochi so if a gengar is poisoned it'll do 40 more damage for a total of 200. Although I rarely get it to work it's still nice to have

This is a really awesome deck Dad, you're really coming into your element with these!! The reasoning is so clear and versatile and the Gengar is a really cool card, definitely underrated and has a lot of potential. I was looking for a card that could utilize the energy stuck on the Squawkabilly in game 2 with an Energy crush effect like Plasma Leafeon but in standard and the Tera fighting Hoopa ex has a 50x amount of energy on opponents for 2 darkness energy and Delphox from brilliant stars has one for double colorless that is also 50x, could be something to try, especially with the Stellar Crown set coming. Awesome video!

Oooo! Hoopa ex would be awesome! That would be an easy swap for Roaring Moon ex, or maybe even cut a Gastly.🤩

Gengar took me to master. Only problem I have is raging bolt

It's a tough match-up, for sure. I have won that match by sticking the Lightning Energy on R-Greninja or Squawk ex, but there are so many one-energy retreaters, they still can get them into the discard pile & then back with Sada. I might up the count of Handheld Fan, and try to get both the Lightning & Fighting pushed down onto the same target.

@@fincastlepokemongym yea that’s the biggest problem with Sada. I got 2 fans I’m running gapejaw and mountain stadiums to try to target the pons also 2 munki I’m going to fit a league somehow. But they most likely running 3 pkstops and vacuum it’s just a rough matchup

@@mr.mentertainment Charizad ex is probably the most tested and perfected deck out there. It has become pretty inexpensive to build, and it's not too challenging to play (still takes some practice). Check out all kinds of lists on Limitlesstcg.com. I'd play Charizard without Dusknoir to start, as it is a more streamlined version. If you want a good starter, look at Miraidon ex/Raikou V lists (same site). If you like Dark-types, look at Roaring Moon ex lists (same site) or my Okidogi ex deck on this site. Both are inexpensive, very competitive and fun to play.
