this is such a BIG problem in the AJ community that I feel like needs to be talked about more, especially on social medias like here and insta etc etc, people will strip their whole personality in this community for a few clicks and only show happiness, I used to be one of THOSE instajammers, and 90% of the people I’ve talked to who make those posts aren’t actually like that, and 100% agree on insta having the most toxic positivity, sometimes they strip their entire personality in their content, most of it is to be a jambassador or just general clout, it’s why I’m no longer a instajammer, and it disappoints me that so many big instajammers that do this

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be ‘famous’ in this community, but when you strip everything in your content that makes your content YOUR CONTENT and have 0 originality is when you go have having a goal as a content creator to being a clout chaser, content creation is about personal expression, yet 90 percent of instajammers express nothing but emotions they most of the time don’t even feel

It's very funny to see how we have a lot of english speaking toxic positive jammers, the portuguese speaking aj community isn't big anymore (we are like 5 people lmao) but I remember that back when it was a big thing, we could rarely see someone like that, there always was something to complain, you could call us "toxic complainers" hehe, this is a culture difference that is pretty interesting to look at ! also loved the new emotes !!

I used to be part of a huge running pack, they don’t run anymore, but anyway, I feel like all of the leaders were very toxic positive. I think the thing holding me back from being a leader in that pack was the fact I didn’t have the toxic positive rich fox vibes they had. And the original owner of the pack was a leader and they were real and told me I could if I just ran more, one day they were kicked out, and there was a court trial (no joke) to see who did it, little did we know that a leader can’t kick another out. The owner had kicked them out because they were different and right after the “trial” which ended in them saying the old owner was toxic they just like brushed it off and danced and I think actually had a party. There are just so many toxic positive people on aj nowadays, and btw this story was in early-mid 2022, thank you for going over this.

Very good video! Some of the old jambassadors like wisteriamoon were not rlly a toxic positivity type, she expressed her feelings on the updates, she said alot of "ew ajhq why have you done this" , but ppl who want to be jambassador don't realise or see that she was still jambassador, even after saying those things. They think being a jambassador is just being positive non-stop. It really is toxic, and as myself an insta jammer, i show my opinions on the updates, i also see alot of toxic positivity posts which dont look like their real emotions at all. Its just sad tbh My fav pet in aj has to be either pet poodles or pet maple moths! Also, can i make you an emote set?😊

My favorite pets are phantoms, because even though the original phantoms are all the same, the pets can have so much personality and their animations are adorable! And also unicorns because on top of looking cute, they finally brought back alternate patterns and shapes, which were far rarer a while ago. Even if it's not gonna carry over to other pets, it's nice to see all the different horns, and patterns, and manes they can have! So looking through the most affordable unicorns trying to find a hidden gem has become a hobby of mine

I agree so much! Positivity is genuinely looking on the bright side and being optimistic about things. Toxic positivity on the other hand is dishonestly being positive about things I wish there were more jambassadors that embrace true positivity. Great video!

My mother. Yes my mother get over it. Used to play aj with the kawaiikittens pack or something . Idk the name. The owners are toxic. They got mad at my mother a few years ago for not being able to run. HER MOTHER DIED . My grandmother DIED from cancer and my mother obviously Being an adult. Didn't have time to run THAT ONE WEEK It got her kicked and she lost her so called "friends" one of which had claimed to also be an adult. Clearly a lie or they would've been more understanding. This upset her as my mother doesn't have many friends irl and she thought she'd found another mother to talk to. :/ They were just using her for points in their pack. I myself stay away from ajpw and only use it to get sapphires so I can play aj classic with membership. I love aj play wilds pet system. But that's the only reason I still play it at all. The community is beyond toxic and all anyone cares about is rare items and winning things. The games gone downhill. You can call people out for doing bad things or morally wrong things and they just laugh at you and turn everyone else in the room against you. Horrible community

You are my favorite AJ creators mostly because of your opinions about the bad side of AJ, I've seen countless comments saying to be "grateful" for what AJ gives when in reality, the 'haters' as they call them aren't even haters and want to help AJ improve. They are a company after all, they need to know that they have to accept criticism as a company and that people shouldn't treat them like a child at all, they are adults. Even the og Jambassadors have opinions of them, I think the newer ones can have the rights of having some opinions as well. My favorite pet would be HMMM Armadillo lizzies, they're so cute! I have one as a main.

I do think Jambassadors should be able to voice concerns about the game and express when AJHQ has made a crappy item or update lol. I have seen a few of them do just that, I imagine some are afraid to be so honest. If I don’t like an item chances are I’ll be making fun of it in 30 seconds on Insta! Love the vid. My favorite pet in animal jam has got to be the pet seahorse in animal jam classic. I just love them funky lil' guys! I also really like anglerfish. My dream pet is a green galactic firefly. My favorite pet in Animal Jam (Play Wild) is the pet octopus. I like alien-looking creatures. :>

Something sad that happened to me on Animal Jam, is that I was just a kid dreaming with old animals to come back. And I waited for years... And I became a teen, the game started to get boring too. And when I finaly brought my wish animals I was an adult and I couldn't have any fun anymore. Not just because of me and my maturity, but because of the game, too. My friends were all gone, I only found new toxic jammers along the way. I tried selling my items but the AJ removed everything once I finished. And now every animal has NO value even though they are more expansive than before. Now everything actually fun is only for those who can pay REAL money. I'm tired.

I know it’s not aj related but is the royale high campus three update and people saying “atleast we got smth” and “their working really hard” after it’s been about 3 years since any update and all we got in return was an outside map, and office at the start. That’s totally fine! When I made my video for the pet seals I expressed how I was happy about it! It’s just when you use it for things such as saying “AJHQ keeps the game safe” (when they’ve allowed groomers on the game), it puts down people who genuinely are upset about AJHQ and their decision. Or even just by using constant positive messages (like the ones you see on Instagram).

No that’s a different situation. Especially if your just trying to help the person. Although, they should also try and get professional help with that said. Toxic positivity in animal jam is when people post fake positivity constantly and put others down for having any negative opinions about the game. Depression is a personal mental health concern, and isn’t related to animal jam. It can get worse from playing the game potentially, but it isn’t the core source of it. This video is about animal jam toxic positivity. Hope this helps 💜

I see absolutely nothing wrong with disagreeing or not liking what updates are added or whag animal jam made or did what's so wrong about that ? Sure perhaps we can argue that they don't want to seem all negative and think about all the positives and how grateful we should be to appeal to the younger audience or aj but I'd like to argue that really just express yourself... Something doesn't have to be positive to be an interesting video that could get views... And besides no matter how good something may seem it still has its negative aspects if they want to appeal to the younger audience I'd like to say having a critical mind is crucial for life.. if you constantly think about the positive of let's say an apology will you truly be able to determine if it really was a genuine apology or not ? If we go by the mind set that oh we should be prous ! They apologized! At least they apologized how else are you going to be able to see that it actually isnt genuine and that some parts are off but hey that's just my opinion And no you shouldn't be overly negative or positive balance those two instead.
