While Naruto and Sakura didn't end up together, their friendship in general is something to take note of, as it ended up being more toxic than expected. With Sakura berating Naruto as members of Team 7, to her fake love confession in the 5 Kage Summit Arc, it can't be expected that Sakura would act right for Naruto, when she likes a person like Sasuke for no real reason.

She's an asshole in og Naruto, but its very obvious in shippuden how much she changed and actually cared for Naruto, like I know she went about it a weird way by saying she loves him but she did that so Naruto wouldn't have to kill his best friend, she cared about him but is also written as an aggressive female, which is a thing in a lot of anime
