The Curly Haired Hokage goes over the relationship between Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, and notes how their relationship doesn't make sense to begin with, mainly with how toxic it is. They never should have gotten together, given that Sakura only "loved" Sasuke in the academy because of his looks, as well as Sasuke never having a desire to be in a relationship with Sakura, nor anyone else, given that his mind was fully set on revenge. And given that Sasuke tried offing Sakura off multiple times in the series, it's crazy to think that they ended up getting married and were able to have a child like Sarada.

They don't make sense at all.. Sasuke is too deep and traumatized but at the same time made mistakes so he needed someone deep who understands him but at the same time puts him in his place and drives him out of his comfort zone.. Sakura being too shallow and submissive was a terrible match for him and the result was their failure family.. Someone like Ino or Karin wouldn't have let him be away for too long and made him into a better person unlike Sakura who just went on with everything he did without questioning.. He himself admitted that he made mistakes regarding his family but Sakura was the one apologizing.. Sakura on the other hand needed someone who loved her for who she was even the bratty childish side of her like Rock Lee not someone like Sasuke who makes her insecure.. But no one is as submissive as Sakura to accept the life she has with Sasuke so in that sense yeah they do make sense but I can't help shake the idea that someone less submissive would've complimented him better and had a better relationship with him than his situationship with Sakura.. But as a Sakura hater I'm glad she ended up in this fkd up situation 😂

​@@sorenvctbh in terms of development Naruhina had flaws too like Naruto forgetting about Hinata's love confession and taking too long for him to realize his feelings for her but in their defense that only happened bcuz Kishimoto was still arguing with his editors about the couples in the show.. Kishimoto's wife and the studio wanted Naruto to end up with Sakura but kishi wanted Naruto to get with Hinata so it was writing plothole not actual flaw in their relationship.. Naruto and Hinata as characters compliment each other perfectly. He is a bratty traumatized child but kind hearted inside so he needed someone to understand him and be patient with him not to scold him so any shallow loud character would've been a bad pair.. Hinata on the other hand was strong and beautiful on the inside but was trapped inside her traumatized self so she needed someone like Naruto to force her true self out with encouragement and support and that worked perfectly for her.. From being too scared to face her cousin to going 1v1 against Pain knowing she'll die to going all by herself alone to the moon with an Otsotsuki villain to to going 1v2 against Urashiki and Kinshiki.. Naruto was perfect for her and they ended up with a happy healthy family and gave birth and raised the new savior of the verse..

Two side of love would have been a plus and a minus, that's when they can perfectly correct each other in personality. As for that, when its come to deep and deep person in a relationship, its not going to work. Sasuke have been traumatized since child and his youth, he would desire for someone as bright as a sun. like Sakura. The most important part is, Uchiha is famous with Sharingan which is activated by love traumatized, as Tobirama - second Hokage once said, no one ever feel deep love than Uchiha, yet when they deeply feel the lost of it, they would become how they are - devil. That's exactly how Sasuke was described. All you see is his traumatized and how the devil become him so you think his personality look deep, but you can flashback how he look like when he is with Itachi and his family, Sasuke back then was a normal kid with fully smiling face and happy with a bit of self-righteous. His past changed it. You should know, in a relationship, no one has the right to put someone in some places that they want. We call it respect, not forcing. They have their jobs, their missions, maybe throughout those days of working, they did made some mistakes with their relationship but everyone once made a mistake with their relationship. And pls, the shallow thing you said about Sakura, seem you know nothing about them. Sasuke had been following his selfish path all his youth, all he thought about was himself revenge. While Sakura, she love him but she chose to follow the right path of a shinobi, not blinded love, she care about Sasuke but she still spend her time training to reach the most limit power as her teacher Tsunade. She has been through countless of injured, circumstances, people live, people die, helpless, powerfull. If you must choose one of them to be a shallow personality one, that would be Sasuke. I mean, since you hater don't even understand about what character are you saying right now, I should stop here. More talk just making you more brainless.

Seriously, Naruto forgave the murderers of his parents. Sasuke forgave Itachi even though he killed his entire clan and tortured him relentlessly. Gaara was forgiven by his village and even became the Kazekage. So why wouldn't Sakura forgive Sasuke when she herself tried to kill Sasuke too? Sasuke never abused Sakura. Self-defense and asking her to train and leave him alone, are not abuse. Stop mistreating Sasuke's character just because your pairing didn't work out. Sasuke didn't even need to apologize. He only tried to Kill Sakura because she intervened and tried to kill him too with a Kunai in his back and tried to deceive him. Otherwise, he wouldn't have bothered with her. Sakura isn't a helpless Woman. She was trained by the Hokage, planned to kill Sasuke with a poisoned kunai, and almost succeeded. She knew the risks of her actions and put herself in danger. Despite that, Sasuke still apologized. Show me any image with Sasuke trying to kill Sakura as his teammate, girlfriend and Wife instead of the Iron Country arc when they were enemies and Sakura goes to kill him and Sasuke was under a heavily mental breakdown after the truth. Sasuke changed and reformed himself before starting a relationship with Sakura. He even rejected her until he could clear his name and reputation before marrying her. Sasuke is still today giving everything to protect the village and his family. I think you're overreacting because Sakura rejected Naruto and loved Sasuke until the end. She wasn't obligated to choose Naruto. She didn't love him. Naruto himself recognized the lie her confession, which is why he was okay with her loving Sasuke instead of living a false love life and moved on to Hinata.

Considering who Sasuke is, were he came from and all the things he has done I don´t believe there is a constellation involving him that is not troubling in some way they both are a case on their own Sasuke as a human being does not have many qualities to him, one has to acknowledge that, granted he was made this way through the many terrible things that happened to him, still that does not excuse many of the things he´s done He is very distant, cold, overly pragmatic, can be very wrathful, holds on to grudges and showed himself to be willing to abandon his comrades when they were no longer of value - I imagine having him for a husband would be a bleak affair for any woman It´s not like that is all that there is to him, but I´m certain it would take a lot to bring out his inner workings from under that ragged armor Now Sakura´s strange obsession turned to mania, turned to love is probably simply stemming from the fact that she herself at heart can be a very bratty, bossy, selfish, immature but also very emotional person I mean to cut her some slack her emotional side brings forth her compassion and she has the potential to show empathy and be assertive and take charge in dire situations as when she led the medicinal Staff which is an admirable competence, but the thing is, her immaturity often get´s the better of her and then she goes from compassionate and emotional to just downright manipulative, violent and flat out mean this is especially apparent when she interacts with Naruto, it´s strange because in a way Sakura acts like an overbearing parent towards Naruto, she constantly scolds him, yells at him for being rash, she seems to be very worried about him and I´m willing to believe that she is sincere about that but the way she communicates it is just... awful and rude, and it seems to have only gotten worse after Sasuke has left the Village perhaps this is a case of projection, perhaps Sakura has this innate desire to hover over her companions like a helicopter parent after she - in her own words: lost Sasuke, I don´t know her inner workings seem to suggest that she still is unsure of what she really wants In Boruto it seems that both characters have mellowed out quite a bit with Sasuke being more approachable and finally beginning to see that there is more to life then revenge and hate and Sakura seems to have matured at least enough to drop her childish antics and has stopped hitting people, at least we have that I mean their marriage while being somewhat stable still has a certain bleakness and stillness to it, which is to be expected - but at the very least their Kid Sarada, while inheriting some of her parents traits seems to have her heart in the right place (by which I mean she is strong willed, can be assertive and a bit motherly towards her friends but is not nearly as hateful or physically violent which I can only see as a plus) damn now that was a mouthful... sorry for this huge wall of text I did not mean to write so much but then I just got carried away, have a nice day

This ridiculous police moral argument really doesn't work in this manga. They were enemies. Sakura is a trained ninja who went after Sasuke to kill him. Sakura isn't some fragile toddler. She was trained by the Hokage, planed to kill Sasuke using a poisoned Kunai and almost managed to get that. She knew what she was doing, she knew that she put herself in dangerous situation. Sasuke was having a mental breakdown due to Danzo and the effects of the Uchiha curse, and yet there are attempts to misrepresent him. When Sasuke try to kill Sakura as his official girlfriend or wife your video will make some sense. Toxic implies Sasuke was taking advantage of a relationship between the two and forcing Sakura in a relationship, but no such thing existed. At the Kage Summit Sasuke was trying to kill everyone who he used to care because of how the truth about the Uchiha Genocide affected and changed his character. Sasuke always have a soft side for Sakura but was blinded by revenge and hatred. As soon he comes back to his sense was obvious he was gonna to accept Sakura. Sasuke eventually allows himself to commit his feelings to her; the reason he pushed her away wasn’t that he didn’t like her, but because of the awful pain of having lost his family, his whole clan and thereby practically speaking his whole identity along with believing to have been betrayed by his brother that he loved so much and looked up to (I don’t really need to go into this do I..) anyway a trauma like this obviously causes a lot of effects such as fear of being hurt again or hurting someone, trust issues, separation anxiety etc and he just tried to suppress it by pushing Sakura and others away. Sakura's crush transformed in true love when she was allowed to meet the Real Sasuke in Part 1 and she make her duty save him when he left the village. When Sasuke left Konoha it add another layer of complexity to Sakura's feeling to Sasuke, which is guilt. She feel guilty for her inability to stop Sasuke and her not being strong enough to join the party to stop him. The combination of Part 1 Sasuke being genuinely a good person who was willing to sacrifice his life to save his friends and acknowledge her, and her guilt over failing to stop Sasuke make her unable to move on from Sasuke even after all that is done. Sasuke always have a soft side for Sakura but was blinded by revenge and hatred. As soon he comes back to his sense was obvious he was gonna to accept Sakura. The second he turns good, what does he do? Apologizes to her. Also Sasuke changed and undergone to reform himself before starts a relationship with her and even rejected her company until his totally clean his name and reputation. Narratively, Sakura irreplaceable and the only female to Sasuke. As soon he comes back and get redeemed was obvious he was gonna to accept Sakura. This was just a natural progression of his character. Karin/Ino never had a chance. Karin was just some crazy rapist who never bothered to undertand Sasuke.

Nah bro you're tripping Sakura was WAY MORE obsessed with Sasuke in Part 1 and even in Shippudden. Whenever Sasuke is involved Sakura loses all self-respect, character development, and reasoning. Naruto has more legitimate reasons to want to save Sasuke than Sakura, he and Sasuke have a bond, can understand each other’s pain, and have walked down each other's path. Sakura can't relate to that at all she had a normal childhood. What's Sakura's reason to save him? To have his kids? Pretty shallow of her. Seriously, Naruto forgave the murderers of his parents. Sasuke forgave Itachi even though he killed his entire clan and tortured him relentlessly. Gaara was forgiven by his village and even became the Kazekage. So why wouldn't Sakura forgive Sasuke when she herself tried to kill Sasuke too? Sasuke never abused Sakura. Self-defense and asking her to train and leave him alone, are not abuse. Stop mistreating Sasuke's character just because your pairing didn't work out. Sasuke didn't even need to apologize. Despite that, Sasuke still apologized. Show me any image with Sasuke trying to kill Sakura as his teammate, girlfriend and Wife. Sasuke changed and reformed himself before starting a relationship with Sakura. He even rejected her until he could clear his name and reputation before marrying her. Sasuke is still today giving everything to protect the village and his family. I think you're overreacting because Sakura rejected Naruto and loved Sasuke until the end. She wasn't obligated to choose Naruto. She didn't love him. Naruto himself recognized the lie her confession, which is why he was okay with her loving Sasuke instead of living a false love life and moved on to Hinata.

Nah. See, what made this pairing worse is that Sasuke didn't give a damn about Sakura in whatever situation. In 1st part of the manga, ok. I'll admit that he blushed and whatnot. That still doesn't justify leaving her defenseless at the entrance (you could argue she'd get in the way, but if he cared, he could've actually just done something about her other than leave her there). Now, a lot of SS fans say that his one eye was covered everytime he tried to kill her in the manga and that he had emotions for trying to kill her, but that SERIOUSLY doesn't make sense. He could've just incapacitated her, but nah. He chose to kill her. If Kakashi and Naruto didn't arrive, Sakura would've legit died. Now, you might give the context of the novels and say they love each other, but think about it. Why was a novel needed to justify their love if they are perfect? Same for NH (which was the inglorious moron of retcons). Plus, Kishimoto himself said that he has a reason for why Hinata likes Naruto, but Sakura loving Sasuke... sounds contrived. Why would he say that if they were endgame from the beginning? As for Boruto, it made Naruto look pathetic and Sasuke is a tree... No joke. Let's look at NaruSaku. Databooks say Sakura began to fall for him. All the parallels existed for them (interestingly, notice how Naruto and Sasuke's cycle of conflict and hatred was resolved/broken, but Naruto and Sakura's wasn't?). Even the Jiraiya novel shows what the outcome was supposed to be. How do I know this? Logic, really. Again, how? If NH was planned, why were the kids not given Byakugan beforehand and were planned last minute? Why was Kaguya not mentioned in The Last? Why wasn't Neji mentioned in the last? Why was Kushina a 'red herring', but Minato oneshot LITERALLY showed no difference in her personality and their pairing wasn't butchered for cutting off Kushina and Sakura parallels? As much as I would say "hey... it works with SS and NH", I can't. SS can't be justified by any means necessary. Even their novel didn't sell really well and neither is Boruto. Simple reasoning, both, anti-enders and non-canon shippers (vast majority of them) moved on. Now, the only ones who are keeping this manga alive are fans of NH and SS (who are fighting amongst themselves🙄). So, to conclude, I can respect your decision to like SS and I can see the appeal of it, but those pairings destroyed way too much development when combined with the abysmal downfall of the manga from the Kage Summit arc.

All he wanted was revenge, and Sakura of course loved Sasuke from the bottom of her heart, and forgave him because she knew he wasn't Sasuke, and she knew he only wanted revenge. His brother, but in the end, Sasuke also fell in love with Sakura, and they got married during their journey and had a child. SasuSaku forever and always ❤️💖

disclaimer: i'm a sakura hater but dont ever make the mistake of thinking me to be a hinata wanker. i hate both of them EQUALLY! and i hate NH and SS on EQUAL terms! My major issue with Sakura is the fact that she ended up with Sasuke against his wishes and consent. Her unhealthy attachment style towards him was always detrimental towards her growth both as a kunoichi and a character. after the end of the war arc.
