Alright youse guys, we're toy chasing when I come to Retropalooza! Great stuff, BTW. Insane hauls in this one. I had a similar find with the Ewok Village playset. I found mine at a toy show for $5. It was missing most everything, but all I cared about was having a great display piece for my Ewoks. So well worth the $5. :-)

that USS flagg aircraft carrier I always thought was sweet my grandpa bought my older cousin all GI joe stuff and i remember being in awe as a kid seeing that playset all set up in the basement with all the jets and everything around it.

I was trying to figure out why the Ewok Village playset looked so familiar when I knew I never owned it and then the trivia popped up and solved that mystery. I had the dumb Sherwood Forest playset as a kid. Neat little factoid about the molds.

I think every kid liked those huge playset type things, and this episode featured three really cool ones (Ewok village, the space shuttle and the carrier/plane). I don't think I ever had a toy like that, probably the closest I came was the TMNT Technodrome (I did have a cool GI Joe tank and a plane though). Only toys I really kept from my childhood were all my pokemon stuff (cards and little figures that all fit into a shoebox) and then all my Star Wars stuff, which was figures and some micromachines playsets.
