5700 miles worth of proof that the 2019 Toyota C-HR mileage is not what was listed on their website. Of course, your mileage may vary... Make sure to stick around til the end to see the full mileage report and my impressions of this subcompact crossover.

In terms of the vehicle review - I have to say that manufacturers should install audio systems that offer BOTH Apple Carplay AND Android Auto because having the "wrong" kind of phone type will be a deal-breaker for some people and a genuine pain-in-the-arse for many others! I have always preferred Android phones and my wife - until very recently - was an IPhone user (she's finally seen the light!) and this has proven to be a bone of contention in the past!

My car has A triple K like your 6OR. On the interstate milage is easy to get, with a decent drive train. I can still get 30ish on an 06 Volvo. I always like your vids

I’m still glad my 20 year old Volvo S80 gets 40-45 mpg highway even though it’s the sad auto aw55. I get 18 city (but I’m aggressive in the city) if I try I get around 22ish city. But that’s like extreme hypermiling and it’s painful to do it. With a manual I bet it would be much easier in the city to get good city ratings. I have 170hp and a slightly better 0-60. I get 8.9 seconds on a good day and 9.9 on poor days which isn’t bad for an old 180k mile fwd with no traction/stability control, open diff land barge. Idk how mine got to being such a gem but I love my s80 and will probably stick with it forever (obviously have some other volvos on the side) what is the production CO2 footprint of the c-hr?

Don't buy this car, if it's sold in North America there's a good chance it's made in Turkey. I wouldn't give any money to the Turkish economy while their military lines up men, bound and gagged, shooting them in the back of the head only because they're an ethnic minority. Buy something made in Japan, Mexico, Canada or the United States. Look for the first digit of the VIN, that will tell you where the car is made: 1, 4 & 5 - United States. 2 - Canada. 3 - Mexico. J - Japan. K - Korea. W - Germany. S - England. Etc.

What a joke my V50 does 52.27MPG or 4.5 Liters per KM with me driving normally in mixed trafic. (with a none working or with out start/stop i might ad) Edit: I might need to clarify that I'm not Joking about my V50s fuel economy, i have a Manual 1.6D Drive E.

Mark Chippendale can’t see how this could have any thing to do with “my private parts” or me being in kindergarten? I was being a bit ignorant on purpose but you have out done me not surprising actually. Any way fuel economy is sort of important for me right now, as I happen to be on a “student budget”, petrol and diesel is expensive here in the tax hell hole and lets not forget about the yearly vehicle tax and “trängselskatt” (a tole fee that you have to pay for the privilege of sitting in f***ing Traffic).

@@klaspeppar5619 rather than a objective comparison, your statement came across (to me) more like a "Well mine's better than yours" claim - a mileage version of dick-waving! Sorry you didn't see the funny side...

OMG! I cannot stand this trend in soundtracks where the "audio speed" varies slightly to give it more of an "analogue" quality! It just sounds like utter garbage being played on cheap-shit equipment! Stop using this please!!! Would you like an instrumental guitar track in which the guitarist couldn't even tune his instrument?? Otherwise, really enjoyed the video!

My V50 (T5 FWD M66, pictured in profile pic) does those highway figures without the soul-sucking CVT or gutless engine. If I go easy on the highway (60-65 in 6th gear), I can get 38-40 mpg all day. And I get 26 city with an actual transmission and enough power to get to 60 over 4 seconds quicker. This Toyota is an ugly, slow-as-hell, soulless hunk of rust-prone, paper thin steel without a valid reason to buy it. They market it as an SUV and has has less ground clearance than a Corolla and no option for AWD. What a joke. There are so many better looking, better performing, and higher-mpg cars out there that anyone who genuinely would buy this is either blind to the facts or loves suffering. This isn't just a mindless rant either - I had the lovely experience (sarcasm) of driving one of these crapcans as a rental. It had less than 600 miles on it, and was the worst car I have ever driven, bar none. Plus, having experience with other, more solidly built Toyotas (a 100 series Land Cruiser, a 2003 Tundra, and a 2015 4Runner), I can say that the metal was absolute crap. Had to sell all three (in the case of the 4Runner, it started rusting after only 2 mild winters). They are built like crap. I don't believe anyone who preaches Toyota reliability, because it just doesn't exist. The infotainment in the 4Runner had random glitches. The Land Cruiser had the suspension go out three times (once at 50k miles, then 120k, then 160k), costing a fortune each time. The Tundra had a fist-sized hole in the frame when we sold it, and we gave up on fixing the 4x4 on it after it failed for the 6th time in seven years. This thing definitely isn't better than that. Toyotas suck. There, I said it. Go weep into your Z4 poster, Toyota fanboys. Oops, I meant Supra. Same thing. Loyal subscriber here, not a troll. Stick to making your S60R fast Hansen. It's what we all want to see.

@@lollymanna Not "fake news" - I'm just stating the facts. Sorry if you can't handle the truth. My Volvo does get that mileage, Toyota no longer lives up to their reputation for reliability, and this car isn't a good choice in the market. Nothing I said was incorrect.

@@markkibbe1802 Fake news. There,s a reason the chinese are flocking to Toyota and lexus products. Facts speak through sales. Google "Toyota surges in china as rivals stumble" Toyota has always prioritized the usa over china unlike GM yet Toyota overtook GM in chinese passenger car sales in the 1st quarter of 2020. Google "Lexus surges in china despite price increase" Lexus doesn't make cars in china unlike Mercedes, BMW and Audi which makes those three cheaper in china than lexus, yet Lexus is outpacing all three by a factor of 4. This is despite the fact that all lexus in china is imported with the 15 percent import tariff, lexus is growing rapidly in china. The chinese know quality. And because of this toyota,s profits are growing the fastest among all auto companies. Hitting a record 20 billion. American car makers on the other hand are seeing their profits tumble as they collapse in china. And this car is a good choice in china where it,s kicking American vehicles ass in sales. Spoiler alert, the Chinese love small cars and Toyota and honda are eating up the market in china. Right now. China is the most important market in the automotive world and the Americans are slowly going extinct there. If ant automaker wants big profits, they have to excel in china. So Toyota doesn't really give a damn about some folks criticising their legendary reliability as they are getting big profits where it matters. CHINA.

@@lollymanna I wasn't talking about sales and I don't care about it. Just because a bunch of clueless Chinese people buy Toyotas doesn't make them good cars. The company itself is doing well, but the cars they produce are not good. They are bought because of their old reputation for reliability that no longer holds up. That is the ONLY reason anyone would even think about buying one. They are ugly, boring penalty boxes with outdated tech. I have had first hand experience with many of their cars, and they aren't what they used to be. Look at literally any magazine comparison test. They consistently score low on the list. Research the vast rust problems and other electrical problems they have had. Other companies make far superior cars that often cost less money. Toyota may be selling a lot of cars, but that is only because of their reputation, which no longer holds up. Don't shitpost on the internet when you clearly have no experience with the brand or any knowledge of the subject you are talking about.
